The skeletons, partial skeletons and isolated bones of 200 dogs, 42 horses, eight sheep and two cattle were recovered at the animal necropolis of Vertault, situated south of the fortifi ed rampart belonging to the Gaulish-Roman village on an incompletely examined stretch of land. Because archaeological fi nds were lacking, three 14C analyses were conducted on horse bone material to provide chronological identifi cation, which dated the faunal remains to the 1st century AD. All of the animals are males. Although the horses are fully mature and some of them very old, the dogs and sheep are all young animals. An analysis on the injury events occurred to the employees in Sicilian hospitals from 2006 to 2008 was carried out, thanks to data filed in the INAL database “Flussi Informativi INAIL ISPESL REGIONI”. A frequency distribution of accidents and an investigation of injury events modality of occurrence have been performed according to ESAW codification. Data limitation and critical aspects have been highlighted in order to propose development in data management process.
The implications of teachers’ implicit theories for moral education: A case study from Finland

Implicit theories concerning the malleability of human qualities are known to have a powerful impact on motivation and learning, but their role in moral education is an under-researched topic. In this qualitative case study, we examined the impact of implicit theories on four Finnish teachers’ practices of teaching morally and in teaching morality. The data include preliminary and stimulated recall interviews (STR) as well as classroom observations. Our results demonstrate the multiple ways in which teachers’ implicit beliefs are communicated to students and influence teacher’s interpretations and endeavors to educate the ethical capabilities of students. In forest management planning, participatory planning processes are often encouraged as a means to acquire relevant information and to enhance the stakeholders' acceptability of alternative plans. This requires the aggregation of the stakeholders' preferences that can be done in a wide variety of manners. The aggregation process strives to reduce the information into a single set of preferences that simplifies the information and allows for the use of discrete decision support tools. Depending on how the preferences are aggregated, a wide range of plan rankings can emerge.
