Hydrodistillation of the flowers (BpFl) of and fruits (BpFr) of Bupleurum fontanesii Guss. ex Caruel gave two oils that were analyzed by GC and GC-MS. The main components were α-elemol (16.7%), caryophyllene oxide (16.4%) and heptacosane (15.9%) in BpFl, and spathulenol (16.8%), caryophylladienol I (13.2%) and α-elemol (12.8%) in BpFr. A good antimicrobial activity against several microorganisms, including Bacillus subtilis, Staphylococcus aureus, Fusarium oxysporum and Aspergillus niger, all infesting historical art craft, was also determined.

GAN tīkli kalpo kā pierādījums, ka dators spēj sintezēt attēlus, balstoties uz doto treniņa datu kopu un tos var izmantot tādiem uzdevumiem, kā, piemēram, attēlu restaurēšanai, izšķirtspējas palielināšanai, stila pārnesei u.c. Šie tīkli varētu noderēt, lai ģenerētu unikālus attēlu resursus tālākai apstrādei un izmantošanai, bet bieži vien lietotājiem ir pašiem jāizgriež nepieciešamais objekts. To varētu arī automatizēt. Šī bakalaura darba nolūks ir izpētīt ar GAN tīkliem saistītos jēdzienus, praktiski izmēģināt GAN tīkla trenēšanu, analizēt tā rezultātus un kā arī izpētīt, kā konvolutīvs neironu tīkls segmentēs ģenerētus attēlus.

Bakalaura darbā “Meteoroloģiskā pavasara un meteoroloģiskās vasaras izmaiņas Latvijā no 1991. līdz 2020. gadam” tika veikts meteoroloģiskā pavasara un meteoroloģiskās vasaras sezonas sākuma, ilguma un vidējo gaisa temperatūru raksturojums Latvijas teritorijā pēdējā klimatiskās normas periodā (1991. – 2020.), kā arī tika izvērtētas to izmaiņu tendences. Teorijas daļā tika izvērtēta un apkopota literatūra par sezonu noteikšanas veidiem un to ilglaicīgām izmaiņām Baltijas jūras reģionā, kā arī par Latvijas klimata reģionālām atšķirībām un meteoroloģiskām sezonām klimatiskās normas periodā no 1981. līdz 2010. gadam. Bakalaura darbā tika pētīta tēma Arābu pavasara radītā bēgļu problēma Eiropā: vērtējuma tendences. 2010. un 2011. gadā, aizsākoties arābu tautu protestu vilnim pret valdošajiem režīmiem Vidusjūras dienvidu un austrumu piekrastēs, kas zināms kā “Arābu pavasaris”, Lībijā un Sīrijā notikumi attīstījās kā pilsoņu kari. Sākot jau ar 2011. gadu šie apstākļi spieda daudzus iedzīvotājus pamest savas valstis, par migrācijas galamērķi izvēloties ekonomiski un sociāli daudz attīstītāko Eiropu. Search for the Decay of the Higgs Boson to Charm Quarks with the ATLAS Experiment

A direct search for the standard model Higgs boson decaying to a pair of charm quarks is presented. Associated production of the Higgs and Z bosons, in the decay mode ZH→ℓ+ℓ−c¯c is studied. A data set with an integrated luminosity of 36.1 fb−1 of pp collisions at √s=13TeV recorded by the ATLAS experiment at the LHC is used. The H→c¯c signature is identified using charm-tagging algorithms. The observed (expected) upper limit on σ(pp→ZH)×B(H→c¯c) is 2.7 (3.9+2.1−1.1) pb at the 95% confidence level for a Higgs boson mass of 125 GeV, while the standard model value is 26 fb.
