Šī bakalaura darba pētījuma mērķis ir noskaidrot, kādas saistības pastāv starp izdegšanas sindromu un stresa pārvarēšanas stratēģiju lietojumu medicīnas māsu vidū. Pētījumā piedalījās 50 medicīnas māsas no dažādām Latvijas slimnīcām ar vidējo vecumu 32,96 gadi (SD 10,99). 92% izlases bija sievietes. 72% respondenti norādīja augstākās izglītības līmeni. Pētījumā tika izmantoti trīs instrumenti: Stresa pārvarēšanas stratēģiju aptauja, Maslakas izdegšanas aptauja – Vispārīgā aptauja, Izdegšanas klīnisko apakštipu aptauja. We have news of that from 1363, and along the following centuries, but the most interesting is the way the procession is represented by two series of drawings one from 1747, and the other from 1866. Obtaining accurate estimates of the CO2 output from arc volcanism requires a precise understanding of the potential along-arc variations in volcanic gas chemistry, and ultimately of the magmatic gas signature of each individual arc segment. In an attempt to more fully constrain the magmatic gas signature of the Central America Volcanic Arc (CAVA), we present here the results of a volcanic gas survey performed during March and April 2013 at five degassing volcanoes within the Costa Rica-Nicaragua volcanic segment (CNVS). OVSICORI Understanding the trigger mechanisms of phreatic eruptions is key to mitigating the effects of these hazardous but poorly forecastable volcanic events. PTSD symptoms in children and adolescents 28 months after a flood: age and gender differences.

The present study examined the prevalence and predictors of posttraumatic stress disorder symptoms (PTSD) in a sample of 533 students (aged 11 to 21), 28 months after the 1997 Flood in southwestern Poland. The results show that 18% of the participants met all diagnostic criteria for PTSD. Based on hierarchical multiple regression analyses, PTSD criteria symptoms were positively correlated with the degree of exposure to trauma experienced during the disaster. A three-way interaction of trauma, age, and gender showed that more PTSD symptoms were observed among the younger participants and girls than among the older boys. Evacuation planning is a critical task in disaster management. Especially in situations such as natural disasters or terrorist attacks, large crowds need to move away from danger and reach designated safe zones. For this purpose, various approaches that efficiently compute evacuation plans in urban areas have been proposed. To evaluate the computed plans, previous works employ heuristics that can only roughly estimate the egress time of each plan. Intuitively, a much better approach is to estimate the egress time via simulation.
