Transport de la variabilité dans les matériaux composites = Uncertainties propagation in composite materials

National audience; Dans ce travail, une méthodologie de transport d'incertitudes à travers les différentes échelles d'observation des matériaux composites : (i) micro (fibres et matrice), (ii) méso (pli), (iii) macro (matériau stratifié) est proposée. L'objectif est d'intégrer à l'échelle macro (celle du calcul de structure) l'effet des incertitudes venant de l'échelle micro et celle des incertitudes introduites à chacune des échelles méso et macro. La démarche proposée s'appuie sur l'élaboration dès l'échelle micro de distributions statistiques bâties sur l'analyse morphologique et obtenues grâce à la génération de matériaux virtuels.

La investigación tuvo como objetivo poner a disposición de los centros residenciales un conjunto de herramientas validadas para la medida de la calidad de vida de personas mayores con dependencia, tanto con como sin deterioro cognitivo grave, que fueran ágiles y sirvieran para orientar el diseño de intervenciones y guiar la implantación de modelos de atención centrados en la calidad de vida de las personas. While self-assembled structures rely on reversible interactions, on-surface synthesis provides the potential for creating long-term stable structures with well-controlled properties, for example superior electron transport for future molecular electronic devices. Multi-resolution anisotropy studies of ultrahigh-energy cosmic rays detected at the Pierre Auger Observatory

We report a multi-resolution search for anisotropies in the arrival directions of cosmic rays detected at the Pierre Auger Observatory with local zenith angles up to $80^\circ$ and energies in excess of 4 EeV ($4 \times 10^{18}$ eV). This search is conducted by measuring the angular power spectrum and performing a needlet wavelet analysis in two independent energy ranges. This article is based on a poster presented at the 2017 FERA conference at the University of Lapland, Rovaniemi (Figure 1). The poster aims to provide a visual aid to enhance discussions with in- and pre-service teachers as well as educational researchers around the role of language in education. The perspectives presented here are intended to provide different ‘entry points’ into language awareness and highlight different considerations. In particular, it should be feasible to explore, manipulate, and ultimately design magnonic excitations in two-dimensional van der Waals magnets in a controllable way. Here we demonstrate the emergence of moiré magnon excitations, stemming from the interplay of spin-excitations in monolayer CrBr3 and the moiré pattern arising from the lattice mismatch with the underlying substrate.
