High precision numerical approach for Davey–Stewartson II type equations for Schwartz class initial data

We present an efficient high-precision numerical approach for Davey–Stewartson (DS) II type equa- tions, treating initial data from the Schwartz class of smooth, rapidly decreasing functions. As with previous approaches, the presented code uses discrete Fourier transforms for the spatial dependence and Driscoll’s composite Runge–Kutta method for the time dependence. Since DS equations are non-local, nonlinear Schrödinger equations with a singular symbol for the non-locality, standard Fourier methods in practice only reach accuracy of the order of 10−6or less for typical examples. Separation of palladium and silver from E-waste leachate : effect of nitric acid concentration on adsorption to Thiol scavenger

The development of recovery techniques for metals present in low concentrations in E-waste, such as silver and palladium, is important from the aspect of the circular economy. Adsorption of palladium and silver was studied in detail in a batch process with silica-based Thiol scavenger from nitric acid leachate of waste printed circuit boards (PCBs). High adsorption efficiencies of Pd(II) and Ag(I), >97%, were reached in nitric acid concentrations below 3 mol L−1. At higher acid concentrations, adsorption efficiency of Ag(I) decreased drastically which enables the separation of Ag(I) and Pd(II) based on nitric acid concentration in sample solution. How is social capital formed across the digital-physical servicescape?

This study examines how consumers create social capital in interactions with other customers and service personnel while shopping in retail stores that consist of both physical and digital locations. We draw on servicescape literature to explore the role of social capital in determining the social realm in digital-physical servicescapes using data from focus group discussions. We demonstrate how customers utilize both the digital and physical servicescapes in a convergent manner to form the social realm of the servicescape with the other people in service encounters. Il capitolo è suddiviso in due parti. Nella prima viene valutata l’efficacia delle strategie del Programma Operativo FEP (Fondo Europeo della Pesca) siciliano nella realizzazione degli obiettivi della Politica Comune della Pesca (PCP) e nel sostegno del settore. Nella seconda parte, le riflessioni emergenti dalla valutazione del FEP vengono approfondite in un’ottica di continuità strategica dell’intervento pubblico ed in funzione della efinizione delle nuove linee programmatiche del Fondo Europeo per gli Affari Marittimi e la Pesca (FEAMP).
