Structure of longitudinal chromomagnetic fields in high energy collisions

We compute expectation values of spatial Wilson loops in the forward light cone of high-energy collisions. We consider ensembles of gauge field configurations generated from a classical Gaussian effective action as well as solutions of high-energy renormalization group evolution with fixed and running coupling. The initial fields correspond to a color field condensate exhibiting domain-like structure over distance scales of order the saturation scale. At later times universal scaling emerges at large distances for all ensembles, with a nontrivial critical exponent. Finally, we compare the results for the Wilson loop to the two-point correlator of magnetic fields.

Abstract Loess-Palaeosol-Sequences (LPS) in the Central European region provide outstanding terrestrial polygenetic and multiphase archives responding to past climate and environments over various spatial and temporal scales. As yet, however, the geomorphological and pedogenic processes involved in LPS formation, and their interplay with changes in ecological conditions, impede robust correlation with other palaeoenvironmental archives. Since the 1960s, research has dealt with agricultural intensification (AI) as a solution to ensure global food security. Recently, sustainable intensification (SI) has increasingly been used to describe those agricultural and farming systems that ensure adequate ecosystem service provision. Studies differ in terms of the application scales and methodologies, thus we aim to summarize the main findings from the literature on how AI and SI are assessed, from the farm to global levels. National audience; Rhizoctonia solani AG 2-2 causes damping-off and root rot on sugar beet in patches that are highly mobile both on spatial and temporal scales. They never occur in the same place where they were in the previous season. The aim of the present study was to uncover the mechanisms underlying the dynamics of disease patches. It was observed that soil inoculum potential was higher within diseased patch than in healthy area. However, the dormant pathogen in healthy area was stimulated by addition of buckwheat meal more than that in diseased patch. Abstract This paper introduces the more general result on existence, uniqueness and boundedness for solutions of nonstandard Volterra type integral equation on an arbitrary time scales. We use Lipschitz type function and the Banach’s fixed point theorem at functional space endowed with a suitable Bielecki type norm. Furthermore, it allows to get new sufficient conditions for boundedness and continuous dependence of solutions.

Hydrophobic character is usually expressed in terms of the partition coefficient in 1-octanol-water (log PO/W). However, measurement of this coefficient is often problematic. Retention in micellar liquid chromatography is mainly due to hydrophobic interactions and can also be used as an index of hydrophobicity. A hydrophobicity scale was established with retention data foro-phthalaldehyde (OPA)-N-acetyl-L-cysteine (NAC) amino acid derivatives, using the glycine derivative as reference.
