Présentation d’une séquence d’expression orale
2012

2019
International audience
Pour une Analyse Cognitive de Discours.
2020
The present contribution proposes to lay down the methodological foundations of a Cognitive Discourse Analysis by matching the so-called usage-based Construction Grammar with a systematic approach to digital corpora in order to allow a highly precise observation of discourse, understood here as a cognitive structure in the form of a discourse frame. The proposed argumentation will be illustrated by a micro-qualitative analysis of the construction , such as "je suis sur Paris".
Discours du sensoriel au prisme de l'approche cognitive. Tour d'horizon et perspectives.
2022
International audience; This research note aims at presenting an overview of the field of sensory discourses. Important publications and recent publications are discussed in order to define the sensory part in these discourses. I then advocate that only a functional-cognitive approach is able to cope with the density and the variety of cognitive phenomena activated in the production/reception of these discourses. The last part of this contribution is dedicated to the exploration of the future evolution of the field. I especially pledge that (i) a multimodal and/or multisensorial perspective, and (ii) an interdisciplinary framework are more than necessary in the enterprise of observing senso…
Music assisted language learning
2021
Soirée Zou was one of the first music assisted methods dedicated to foreign language learning. It provides relevant music and speech materials used in our Chinese Mandarin teaching and keeps bringing help to beginners learning despite the controversy on the role of music on language. The extracted sequences are shown together with the practical approach and the observations. The results suggest the role of music in at least three stages of the learning process: in the perception stage through collective singing stimulation, in the consolidation stage through rewarded individual repetition and in the memory retrieval stage as an additional cue before the oral production.
The digital transnational linguistic landscape of wine discourses. A comparative discourse analysis of three European (wine) regions.
2021
International audience; [Context] Wine is a bio-cultural product (Bach 2017: 123; 2018: Part 2), which constitutes regional identities throughout Europe, and especially in Germany and France. This is particularly noticeable in regions where wine routes cross landscapes combining the experience of traditional winemaking with (daily) wine enjoyment and tourism. A marketing concept such as enotourism is (sure) the most notable manifestation of this shared interest. In Burgundy, Alsace, and Rhineland-Palatinate such socio-economic infrastructures are remarkable. From a sociolinguistic perspective, this is relevant to evaluate how phenomenal objects such as landscape are integrated into the comm…
