Viimeaikaista liikuntapoliittista ja -tieteellistä keskustelua on käyty siitä, millainen on liikunnan ja urheilun sukupuolten tasa-arvon ja yhdenvertaisuuden tila. Abstract This descriptive study sought to understand the complexities of integrative processing during collaborative online reading. Student pairs constructed a collaborative understanding while reading online information about a controversial issue by connecting, combining and organizing information that originated from prior knowledge, self-selected online texts, and discussions during an online inquiry task. This chapter reports on a study conducted in seven countries in which young children’s (aged under 8) digital practices in the home were examined. The study explored family practices with regard to access to and use of technologies, tracing the ways in which families managed risks and opportunities. Seventy families participated in the study, and interviews were undertaken with both parents and children, separately and together, in order to address the research aims. Background The World Health Organization (WHO) has developed guidelines for 24-h physical activity (PA), sedentary behaviour and sleep for young children. Lower socioeconomic status (SES) has been linked to a lower likelihood of meeting these guidelines. The outbreak of the novel coronavirus disease (COVID-19) raised concerns about young children’s opportunities to meet the guidelines. The aim of this paper was to analyze how cultural identification, perceived discrimination and the sense of community are related to life satisfaction among foreign partners in intercultural families. The study compared 105 and 95 foreign partners in mixed families resident in Italy and Spain, respectively. The phenomenon in both countries displays similar sociodemographic aspects. Muistiedustusten tarkkuutta voidaan selvittää esimerkiksi tutkimalla aivojen herätevasteita. Tämän tutkimuksen tarkoituksena oli selvittää, miten dyslektisten lasten muistiedustukset prototyyppisistä äidinkielen äänteistä eroavat normaalisti lukevien lasten muistiedustuksista.
