Biomechanics Parameters in Teenage Cyclist – SUV Accident and Comparison with the Pedestrian

The study of the injury caused by the vehicle-teenage cyclist crash is presented in this paper. The vehicle is a SUV, with high frontal part, in order to compare the results with those obtained previously in the sedan- teenage cyclist crash and begin a study of the influence of the frontal shape of the vehicle. No variation is executed on the model of the teenage cyclist and the bike. Three different positions are analyzed: front, rear and lateral position. Sport coaches have paradoxical attitudes towards addressing health promotion as a part of their coaching practice: health is recognized as an important factor, but not greatly invested in. Overall, the extent to which youth sport coaches take health promotion into account has been unclear. Therefore, it is the intention of this study to clarify this situation. The results show that coaches evaluate their own activity on health promotion as being relatively active, whereas young male athletes' evaluations reveal a wide gap in how they perceived the coaches' activity. Longitudinal and cross-sectional associations of adherence to 24-hour movement guidelines with cardiometabolic risk

This study aimed to examine 1) adherence to 24-hour movement guidelines over a 2-year follow-up in children aged 6-8 years and 2) association of this adherence with cardiometabolic risk factors. Physical activity and sleep were assessed by a monitor combining heart rate and accelerometry measurements. Screen time was reported by the parents. Body fat percentage, waist circumference, blood glucose, serum insulin, plasma lipids and blood pressure were assessed, and a cardiometabolic risk score was calculated using z-scores. In questo articolo rispondo alle critiche e ai commenti alla mia ricostruzione della concezione del potere di Michel Foucault proposti da Bruno Celano, José Juan Moreso, Marco Segatti, Alessandro Spena. Mi concentro in particolare sui seguenti aspetti: la connessione fra la nozione foucaultiana di potere e il conflitto; la distinzione fra potere disciplinare, potere governamentale, e potere normativo; la concezione foucaultiana della libertà come autorialità; ciò che Foucault può suggerire riguardo ad alcune “macchie cieche” della teoria del diritto contemporanea.

The present paper aims to identify the causes of under-representation of women in E-sports. According to a genre perspective, interest in videogames at the amateur level is quite similar. However, in its professional level, female participation becomes very limited. The fact that physical effort is irrelevant (a requirement for ?traditional sports?) could be considered a variable that would negatively affect greater to equality in the conditions of access and participation of women in electronic sports.
