Background: We examined effects of trait self‐control, constructs from social cognition theories, and intentions on health behaviours. Trait self‐control was expected to predict health behaviour indirectly through theory constructs and intentions. Trait self‐control was also predicted to moderate the intention–behaviour relationship. The state of preservation of the bug Sehirus carpathiensis J.A. Lis, Vršanský & Schlögl, sp. n. (Hemiptera: Heteroptera: Cydnidae) from the Lakšárska Nová Ves Formation at Cerová (Slovakia) supports extremely rapid sinking and burial in upper bathyal Early Miocene sediments. The specimen originated from land at most a few kilometers away, but transport via a river can be excluded as the head and wings are still attached. Its most likely source based on fossil flora and the habitat of several living representatives of the genus is a riparian habitat in an adjacent area of land. Improvisational music therapy is a type of creative arts therapy in which clients are encouraged to express themselves through the symbolic and non-verbal medium of music, by creating free music improvisations together with the therapist. Tutkimuksen tavoitteena oli selvittää, millaisia yksilölle merkitykselliset musiikinkuuntelukokemukset kroonisen (fyysisen) sairauden eri vaiheissa ovat ja mitä musiikin kuuntelemisella tavoitellaan. Merkityksellisten kokemusten kautta pyrittiin luomaan kuvaa musiikinkuuntelun itsehoidollisesta luonteesta. Huomio kiinnitettiin siihen, millä tavalla yksilö voi itse vaikuttaa omaan olotilaansa ja millaisessa roolissa musiikki voi tässä yhteydessä toimia. This paper aims to discuss complexity as a key feature for understanding the role of science knowledge in environmental and health contexts—a central issue in Science|Environment|Health pedagogy. Complex systems are, in principle, not predictable. In different contexts, ephemeral mechanisms produce different, sometimes completely unexpected results. The art of decision-making in complex contexts is to take scientific knowledge into account but to interpret its meaning in terms of concrete complex contexts.
