A systematic review and meta-analysis of the benefits of school-based, peer-led interventions for leaders

The aim of our systematic review and meta-analysis was to quantitatively synthesise the effects of school-based peer-led interventions on leaders’ academic, psychosocial, behavioural, and physical outcomes. Eligible studies were those that: (i) evaluated a school-based peer-led intervention using an experimental or quasi-experimental study design, (ii) included an age-matched control or comparison group, and (iii) evaluated the impact of the intervention on one or more leader outcomes. Adolescents’ problematic use of the internet and the risk of sexual online victimization are an increasing concern among families, researchers, professionals and society. RESUMEN El presente estudio investigó las relaciones entre la autoestima, la soledad y el uso problemático del smartphone y las diferencias de género. La muestra fue no probabilística y estuvo compuesta por 202 participantes (106 hombres y 96 mujeres), con edades comprendidas entre los 18 y los 58 años, que completaron las siguientes pruebas: Smartphone Addiction Scale, Social and Emotional Loneliness Scale for Adults y Escala de Autoestima de Rosenberg. Methods Women (N = 125) completed survey questionnaires regarding their self-esteem and childbirth experiences at three time points in 2020–2021: third trimester of pregnancy (T1), 4–8 weeks postpartum (T2) and 1 year postpartum (T3). Job insecurity is recognized as one of the most prominent job stressors for employees. Despite decades of research, the concurrent examination of both quantitative (i.e. perceived threat of job loss) and qualitative (i.e., perceived threat of losing some job features) job insecurity and the analysis of their different relationships with well-being at work have received relatively scarce attention.
