Resource Allocation and Computation Offloading for Wireless Powered Mobile Edge Computing

In this paper, we investigate a resource allocation and computation offloading problem in a heterogeneous mobile edge computing (MEC) system. In the considered system, a wireless power transfer (WPT) base station (BS) with an MEC sever is able to deliver wireless energy to the mobile devices (MDs), and the MDs can utilize the harvested energy for local computing or task offloading to the WPT BS or a Macro BS (MBS) with a stronger computing server. This study examined teachers’ occupational well-being by identifying profiles based on teachers’ self-ratings of work engagement as well as work-related effort and reward. It also did so by examining whether the identified subgroups differed with respect to teachers’ self-reported occupational stress and emotional exhaustion as well as with respect to work-related resources such as the individual resource of work meaningfulness and the leader-level resource of the leader–follower relationship. Radiation-sensitive gels are among the most recent and promising developments for radiation therapy (RT) dosimetry. RT dosimetry has the twofold goal of ensuring the quality of the treatment and the radiation protection of the patient. Benchmark dosimetry for acceptance testing and commissioning of RT systems is still based on ionization chambers. Tutkimuksessamme testattiin Siegristin (1996) ponnisteluiden ja palkkioiden epäsuhdan mallin kuvaajien (ponnisteluiden ja palkkioiden epäsuhta, ylisitoutuneisuus) yhteyttä työpaikan vaihtoihin. Kahdeksan vuoden pitkittäistutkimuksen aineisto kerättiin suomalaisten ammattihenkilöiden joukosta tutkimusvuosina 2006 (n = 747), 2008 (n = 422), 2010 (n = 368), 2012 (n = 325) ja 2014 (n = 273). Tutkimuksen alkaessa (2006) osallistujat työskentelivät esimiesasemassa pääosin tekniikan alalla ja heistä suurin osa oli miehiä (85 %). FM Mari Saarinen on tutkinut väitöskirjassaan Paraergasilus rylovi -äyriäisloisen biologiaa sen isännässä, Anodonta piscinalis -pikkujärvisimpukassa. Työ on perustavaa laatua oleva, sillä tästä loisesta ei lajinkuvauksen lisäksi ole tiedetty aiemmin mitään.Saarisen tutkimuksissa kartoitetaan äyriäisloisen esiintymistä ja loisinnan voimakkuutta eri simpukkalajeilla eri osissa Suomea. Tulokset osoittivat, että loinen on erikoistunut käyttämään pikkujärvisimpukkaa isäntänään ja että loinen esiintyy Suomessa vain maan eteläosissa. Piedošana un sēru izpausmes sievietēm pēc perinatālā zaudējuma

Šī pētījuma mērķis ir izpētīt saikni starp piedošanas dimensijām (piedošana sev, piedošana citiem un piedošana situācijām), sēru simptomiem un zaudējuma raksturlielumiem sievietēm pēc perinatālā zaudējuma. Kā arī noskaidrot kādā mērā piedošana un zaudējuma raksturlielumi prognozē sēru simptomus. Pētījuma respondentu izlasi veido 440 sievietes, vecumā no 20 līdz 45. gadiem, kur vidējais vecums ir 33,2 gadi. Lai mērītu piedošanu, tika izmantota Hartlenda piedošanas skala (Heartland Forgiveness Scale, Thompson & Snyder, 2003), kuru Latvijā adaptējusi Vendija Balode, 2017. gadā.
