CT and MR imaging of cystic renal lesions

AbstractCystic renal lesions are a common incidental finding on routinely imaging examinations. Although a benign simple cyst is usually easy to recognize, the same is not true for complex and multifocal cystic renal lesions, whose differential diagnosis includes both neoplastic and non-neoplastic conditions. In this review, we will show a series of cases in order to provide tips to identify benign cysts and differentiate them from malignant ones.

The aim of the study is to reveal the role of sound in action anticipation and performance, and to test whether the level of precision in action planning and execution is related to the level of sensorimotor skills and experience that listeners possess about a specific action. El presente artículo se ocupa de examinar dos teorías sobre el origen de la cognición. La primera de ellas es una teoría neurobiológica de los autores V. Mountcastle y J. Hawkins, pero trabajando independientemente el uno del otro. La segunda teoría pertenece a la Psicología Cognitiva y es de D. Gentner. Es interesante comprobar la fuerte congruencia que existe entre ambas teorías a pesar de tener, naturalmente, metodologías totalmente diferentes. Se trata de una serie de estancias pavimentadas con mosaicos de opus tessellatum, decorados con motivos geometricos y vegetales bicromos de gran calidad. Flow Behavior of Chain and Star Polymers and Their Mixtures

Star-shaped polymers show a continuous change of properties from flexible linear chains to soft colloids, as the number of arms is increased. To investigate the effect of macromolecular architecture on the flow properties, we employ computer simulations of single chain and star polymers as well as of their mixtures under Poiseuille flow. Hydrodynamic interactions are incorporated through the multi-particle collision dynamics (MPCD) technique, while a bead-spring model is used to describe the polymers. Burnout, work engagement and workaholism among highly educated employees: Profiles, antecedents and outcomes

The present study examined the longitudinal profiles of burnout, engagement and workaholism among highly educated employees. First, the latent profile modeling indicated two latent classes: Engaged and Exhausted-Workaholic. Second, the results revealed that employees with the Engaged profile experienced high levels of energy and dedication, whereas employees with the Exhausted-Workaholic profile experienced exhaustion, cynicism and workaholism. Social pessimism in the transition from high education to work predicted poor subjective well-being at work.
