Tämän pro gradu -tutkielman tarkoituksena on esitellä Diofantoksen approksimoinnin tuloksia ja antaa todistus Rothin lauseelle. Diofantoksen approksimoinnissa ollaan kiinnostuneita siitä, kuinka hyvin irrationaalilukuja voidaan arvioida rationaaliluvuilla. Näiden rationaalilukuarvioiden määrän perusteella voidaan antaa riittävä ja välttävä ehto luvun irrationaalisuudesta. Osoittautuu, että ainoastaan irrationaaliluvuilla on ääretön määrä ''hyviä'' arvioita. Tämän ehdon riittävyys ja välttävyys todistetaan ja lisäksi esitellään tehokas menetelmä näiden arvioiden laskemiseksi ketjumurtolukujen avulla. A Geant4 simulation package has been developed to investigate and test detector configurations for lung counting applications. The objective of this study was to measure radiation emitted from the human body and to make a qualitative comparison of the results of the simulation with an experiment. Experimental data were measured from a plastic phantom with a set of lungs containing 241Am activity. For comparison, simulations in which 241Am activity was uniformly distributed inside the lungs of the ICRP adult reference computational phantom were made. Liquid argon time projection chamber detector technology provides high spatial and calorimetric resolutions on the charged particles traversing liquid argon. The aim of this dissertation was explore the beliefs and practices of pre-service primary teachers on using simulations as a part of guided inquiry-based lessons. Even though research has shown that using simulations to learn science offers certain learning benefits compared to other forms of instruction, their use in Finnish schools is still rare compared to the international average. Teacher training has the potential to promote the use of simulations in primary classrooms. Tässä opinnäytetyössä on tavoitteena selvittää, millaisia merkityksiä alaiset antavat kokemuksilleen luottamuksen menettämisestä johtaja-alaisvuorovaikutussuhteessa. Tutkimuksen kohteena on myös se, vaikuttaako ilmiö suhteen laatuun. Ilmiön kontekstina toimii johtaja-alaisvuorovaikutussuhde, jota tarkastellaan johtaja-alaissuhteen vaihdannan teorian (LMX-teorian) avulla. International audience; The herbicide diuron is frequently applied to vineyard soils in Burgundy, along with repeated treatments with Bordeaux mixture (a blend of copper sulfate and calcium hydroxide) that result in elevated copper concentrations. Cu could in principle affect the fate and transport of diuron or its metabolites in the soil either directly by complexation or indirectly by altering the populations or activity of microbes involved in their degradation.
