Numerical resistive relativistic magnetohydrodynamics

La presente tesis se desarrollada dentro del marco de la Magnetohidrodinámica Resistiva Relativistica (RRMHD; por sus siglas en inglés) y uno de sus principales objetivos es el caracterizar las condiciones físicas que optimizan la disipación de campos magnéticos en plasmas relativistas, especialmente en aquellos que son de interés astrofísico. Dzīves kvalitātes novērtēšana pacientiem ar Multiplo sklerozi

Maģistra darbā ir pētīta tēma “Dzīves kvalitātes novērtēšana pacientiem ar multiplo sklerozi”. Multiplā skleroze (MS) ir centrālās nervu sistēmas slimība. Tā ietver smadzenes, muguras smadzenes un acu nervus. Rietumu pasaulē apmēram 1 no 1000 cilvēkiem attīstās MS. Latvijā 2017. gadā bija 2010 multiplās sklerozes pacientu , un to skaits katru gadu pieaug. Darbā ir veikts pētījums par multiplās sklerozes pacientu dzīves kvalitāti. Lai to izvērtētu, ir anketēti 55 multiplās sklerozes pacienti. Multiplās sklerozes pacientu dzīves kvalitātes anketa MSQOL-54 ir diagnozei specifisks instruments, lai mērītu MS pacientu dzīves kvalitāti. Anketa sastāv no 54 jautājumiem. Indricas apbūve 15.-18.gadsimtā: pāreja no nocietinātas muižas uz mūra rezidenci

Maģistra darba mērķis ir raksturot pārejas procesus Indricā no 15.–16.gs. vasaļa nocietinātās muižas uz 16.–18.gs. Plāteru dzimtai piederošu mūra rezidenci. Pētījuma ietvaros tiek analizēti divi hronoloģiski atšķirīgi nocietinātās muižas un rezidences būvperiodi Dorotpoles ezera R krastā. Tēma ir aktuāla, jo izvērsta Indricas būvkompleksa izpēte sniegs salīdzinošo materiālu par pārejas posma analoģijām un savstarpējām līdzībām daudz plašākā reģionā. Pēdējo gadu laikā ir veikti plaši pētījumi Ziemeļeiropas muižu būvvēstures izpētē. Tämän tutkimuksen tavoitteena oli tarkastella Y-sukupolveen kuuluvien korkea-koulutettujen naisten toiveita työelämältä ja esimiestyöltä. Tutkimuksessa selvi-tettiin mitkä tekijät lisäävät naisten sitoutumista työpaikkaan ja millaisia piirteitä haastateltavat arvostavat hyvässä esimiehessä. Tutkimuksessa tarkasteltiin myös Y-sukupolven työelämässä kohtaamia haasteita. Tutkimuksen viitekehys raken-tui jo ilmestyneestä Y-sukupolvea ja työelämää käsittelevästä tutkimuskirjalli-suudesta. Tutkimuksen rakenteeksi muodostui lähdekirjallisuuden ja empiirisen aineiston vuoropuhelu. The aim of this article is to look at the ways in which young European women staying in the city of Varanasi for long periods of time talk about India and how they negotiate their place and role as women there. There is a common travellers’ discourse that sees India as a difficult and dangerous place to a vulnerable traveler, and the encounters of colonial women with “otherness” have been widely analysed. This article brings this discussion to the post colonial era and endeavors to initiate a discussion about how to understand the encounters between visiting Western women and the locals in India today. AbstractAlthough victims at the International Criminal Court (ICC) are not parties, they can apply to become “victim participants” and may be authorized by an ICC Chamber to directly and orally express their views and concerns in court. Most ICC Trial Chambers, however, have preferred allowing legal representatives of these victim participants to call victims as witnesses to give testimonial evidence about the harm they suffered. The carnage of World War I gave rise to liberal visions for a new world order with democratized foreign policy and informed international public opinion. Conservatives emphasized continuity in national sovereignty, while socialists focused on the interests of the working class. While British diplomacy in the construction of the League of Nations has been widely discussed, we focus on contemporary uses of nationalism and internationalism in parliamentary and press debates that are more ideological.
