On a nonlinear Schrödinger equation for nucleons in one space dimension

We study a 1D nonlinear Schrödinger equation appearing in the description of a particle inside an atomic nucleus. For various nonlinearities, the ground states are discussed and given in explicit form. Their stability is studied numerically via the time evolution of perturbed ground states. In the time evolution of general localized initial data, they are shown to appear in the long time behaviour of certain cases.

Maisterintutkielmani tarkoitus oli saada selville, mitä yläkoulun klassisen musiikin opetukseen kuuluu ja miten opettajat ja oppilaat suhtautuvat klassisen musiikin opetukseen. Tutkin pro gradu –työssäni karhuaihetta suomalaisen taiteen historiassa aina esihistoriasta nykypäivään saakka. Käytän tutkimusmetodeinani sekä ikonologista että semioottista analyysiä painottaen kuitenkin ikonologiaa päämetodina. Tutkielmani ajallisesti laajan alueen kattamiseksi esittelen useita esimerkkejä karhuaiheisista taideteoksista, sekä muita karhuun liittyviä kulttuurin tuotteita, kuten vaakunataidetta ja karhuntaljaa. Karhu esiintyy erittäin harvoin Suomen alueelta löydetyissä kalliokuvissa. Aptamers are short, single-stranded DNA or RNA oligonucleotide molecules that function as synthetic analogs of antibodies and bind to a target molecule with high specificity. Aptamer affinity entirely depends on its tertiary structure and charge distribution. Therefore, length and structure optimization are essential for increasing aptamer specificity and affinity. Aptamer selection against novel infections is a complicated and time-consuming approach. Synergy can be achieved by using computational methods together with experimental procedures. This study aims to develop a reliable methodology for a rational aptamer in silico et vitro design.
