Background: Children’s first years of life are crucial to their future health. Studies show that a varied diet with a high intake of vegetables is positive in several domains of health. The present low vegetable intake amongst children is, therefore, a concern. Food neophobia is a common barrier to vegetable intake in children. As most Norwegian children attend kindergarten from an early age, kindergartens could contribute to the prevention of food neophobia and the promotion of vegetable intake. Kopš 2008. gada, kad tika izgatavota pirmā elektroniskā cigarete (e-cigarete), strauji pieaug cilvēku skaits, kas sāk tās lietot jeb, kā tas pareizi tiek saukts, veipot (veipošana – no angļu valodas “to vape, vaping, vape”- 'tvaiks' – elektroniskās cigaretes lietošana). Tomēr veipošanas akūta un hroniska ietekme uz cilvēka organisma funkcijām nav detalizēti izpētīta. Pētījums tika veikts ar mērķi noskaidrot divu veidu cigarešu – elektronisko un parasto, smēķēšanas akūtu ietekmi uz sirds un asinsrites sistēmas funkcionālajiem parametriem. Tarkastelen pro gradu -tutkielmassani suomalaisen kirjallisuuden vientiä kirjailijoiden näkökulmasta. Selvitän kirjailijoiden kokemuksia suomalaisen kirjallisuuden viennin prosesseista, toimijoista ja tukitoimenpiteistä. Lisäksi tarkastelen kirjallisuuden viennin merkityksiä kirjailijalle. Aineistonkeruumenetelmänä käytän kyselyä. Aineisto koostuu 35 kirjailijan vastauksista monivalinta- ja avoimiin kysymyksiin. Aineiston analyysissä käytän sisällönanalyysin, teemoittelun ja tyypittelyn metodeja. In this study the task is to point out the key features in the making of a Swedish nation from the perspective of a minority language, i.e. the Finnish speaking minority in the region of Norrbotten, Sweden. Swedish historians usually list the fear of Russia (Russia, the arch-enemy -topos) and the Laestadian movement as main reasons for the policy of cultural assimilation of the Finnish-speaking minority. The Norwegian authorities started a nationwide free school fruit program in 2007, implemented in all secondary schools (grades 8–10) and combined schools (grades 1–10) in Norway. The program ended in 2014. This study evaluates the effect of ending the nationwide free school fruit program on the consumption of fruit, vegetables, and unhealthy snacks among Norwegian sixth and seventh graders. The study sample consists of pupils at 18 schools that participated in all data collections in the Fruits and Vegetables Make the Marks project (FVMM), initiated in 2001, with new data collections in 2008 and 2018.
