Tutkin pro gradu -tutkielmassani, millaista todellisuutta muotia ja kansan- ja kansallispukuja käsittelevät tekstit tuottavat ja miksi jotkut diskurssit saavat hegemonisen aseman. Tutkimusaineistoni koostuu 38 kirjoituksesta, jotka on julkaistu suomalaisissa sanomalehdissä 1875–1885. Pukeutumisen diskursseja on aikaisemmin tutkittu vastaavista lähteistä melko vähän, joten tutkimukseni tuo syventävää tietoa aikalaisten käsityksistä muuttuvia pukujaan kohtaan ja paljastaa mahdollisia syitä kirjoitusten olemassaololle. Nuclear structure and neutrino-nucleus reactions at supernova energies

Supernova-(anti-)neutrino–nucleus scattering is discussed with reference to neutral-current (NC) and charged-current (CC) processes in heavy stable nuclei. The Donnelly-Walecka method with the associated multipole expansion of the nucleonic current has been adopted as the basic framework in deriving the neutrino-nucleus scattering cross sections. The needed nuclear wave functions are computed by using the quasiparticle random-phase approximation (QRPA) for the even-even target nuclei in the NC processes and the proton-neutron QRPA (pnQRPA) has been used to compute the CC processes for the mentioned nuclei. The new species Rhopalosiphum chusqueae Pérez Hidalgo & Villalobos Muller, is described from apterous viviparous females caught on Chusquea tomentosa in Cerro de la Muerte (Costa Rica). The identity of the species is supported both by the morphological features and by a molecular phylogenetic analysis based on a fragment of the mitochondrial DNA containing the 5’ region of the cytochrome c oxidase 1 (COI) and on the nuclear gene coding for the Elongation factor-1 alpha (EF1α). In order to estimate vegetation photosynthesis from remote sensing observations; some critical parameters need to be quantified. From all absorbed light; the plant needs to release any excess that is not used for photosynthesis; by non-photochemical quenching; by fluorescence emission and unregulated thermal dissipation. Non-photochemical quenching (NPQ) processes are controlled photoprotective mechanisms which; once activated; strongly control the dynamics of photochemical efficiency. In this article, we report a case study of our experiences of a curriculum reform process based on the principles of phenomenon-based learning in higher education in the context of Finnish teacher education. We explore how democracy and participation were present in the decision making process, highlighting the challenges of promoting the phenomenon-based approach and collaboration.
