Bruk av dyr i vitenskapelige eksperimenter : en filosofisk undersøkelse

I dette arbeidet behandles filosofiske og etiske spørsmål som oppstår i forbindelse med bruk av dyr i vitenskapelige eksperimenter. Med vitenskapelige eksperimenter menes eksperimenter innenfor all slags medisinsk og veterinærmessig forskning og innenfor arbeid som tar sikte på å utvikle og prøve medikamenter. Det tenkes altså både på anvendt forskning og på grunnforskning. Forfatteren kommer ikke inn på bruk av dyr i kosmetikkindustrien, i matvareproduksjonen eller i kontrollen av matvarer. Det gås heller ikke inn på bruk av dyr som kjæledyr eller som følgedyr.

Kristne barnehager

Artikkelen gir ny kunnskap om kristne barnehager som utgjør omkring 4,5 % av norske barnehager. Vi redegjør for lovgrunnlaget og undersøker blant annet ulike livssynsvedtekter og hvordan et utvalg ansatte forstår mandatet sitt, og bidrar til å gjøre verdigrunnlaget og fagområdet etikk, religion og filosofi (ERF) synlig i hverdagen og ved høytidene. En empirisk undersøkelse fra høsten 2019 og våren 2020 utgjør det viktigste empiriske materialet for artikkelen og omfattet 20 ansatte med pedagogisk ansvar i 19 barnehager i Oslo og på Agder. Concern about changing cultural landscapes has increased recently, with the advent of the European Landscape Convention placing signatory countries in a position of having to develop action for protecting and managing cultural landscapes. Corporate spin-offs have gained popularity over the past few years. Despite of this in Finnish media and university teaching this phenomenon has gained little attention. This study aims to fulfill this knowledge gap. Spin-off is a restructuring procedure where company splits into two separate legal entities via pro-rata transaction basis. I researched this phenomenon by event-study methodology which has been quite popular also in earlier studies. I have com-pared parent and spin-off stock performance in order to reveal potential value gains for investors. Oceans, or other wide expanses of inhospitable environment, interrupt present day distributions of many plant groups. Using molecular dating techniques, generally incorporating fossil evidence, we can estimate when such distributions originated. Numerous dating analyses have recently precipitated a paradigm shift in the general explanations for the phenomenon, away from older geological causes, such as continental drift, in favour of more recent, long-distance dispersal (LDD). 1. Understanding how biological communities respond to environmental changes is a key challenge in ecology and ecosystem management. The apparent decline of insect populations necessitates more biomonitoring but the time-consuming sorting and expert-based identification of taxa pose strong limitations on how many insect samples can be processed.
