This qualitative study aims to analyse the worldview that emerges in the textbooks of Turkish imam and preacher high schools (úmam hatip lisesi). The study material consists of eight textbooks that belong to the vocational religious education of Turkish imams. All of the textbooks were published around 2010. In this study, theoretical considerations regarding the essence of worldview (Weltanschauung) are summarized into an existential model of worldview (EKMA). The model provides two viewpoints from which to understand the worldview under study. Gwałtowny wzrost liczby zamachów terrorystycznych na przełomie XX i XXI w. w wymiarze międzynarodowych wyraźnie wskazuje na zwiększenie aktywności ugrupowań terrorystycznych o charakterze religijnym, który kojarzony był z ugrupowaniami terrorystycznymi o rodowodzie islamskim. The Effect of Islamic Work Ethics on Work Outcomes

This study was conducted to investigate the effect of Islamic work ethic on work outcomes (job satisfaction, organizational commitment and turnover intention). The study used a sample of 49 employees from 10 institutions of Islamic microfinance in Demak regency, Central Java Indonesia. The empirical testing indicates that Islamic work ethic has positive effects on both job satisfaction and organizational commitment; whereas there is no significant evidence of the effect of Islamic work ethic on turnover intention. Implication, limitation and suggestion for future research are discussed.

The author of the article presents a phenomenon of terrorism in the Balkans throughout the 19th, 20th an 21st centuries. She highlights a thesis that specific phenomenon of terrorism in the region requires additional studies, mostly of heuristic nature. Nękana najdłuższym konfliktem zbrojnym w dziejach Indonezji (pomiędzy separatystami a wojskiem indonezyjskim) prowincja Aceh na północy Sumatry uzyskała upragnioną szeroką autonomię w ramach unitarnego państwa. Paradoksalnie do postępów procesu pokojowego przyczyniło się tragiczne w skutkach tsunami, m.in. dlatego, że ofiarodawcy pomocy międzynarodowej wymagali przede wszystkim pokoju i bezpieczeństwa na tym obszarze, a dla władz centralnych nałożenie się na siebie dwóch problemów w tej prowincji też było zbyt dużym wyzwaniem.
