Elämys- ja seikkailupedagoginen luontoliikunta opetussuunnitelman toteutuksessa : etnografinen tutkimus

2016

Tämän liikuntakasvatuksen kenttään sijoittuvan laadullisen, etnografisen toiminnallisen tapaustutkimukseni tarkoituksena on lisätä ymmärrystä 1990-luvulla Suomeen levinneestä elämys- ja seikkailupedagogiikasta ja tutkia sen sovellusmahdollisuuksia opetuksessa opetussuunnitelmaa toteuttaen. Lisäksi tarkoituksena on tutkia menetelmän soveltuvuutta erilaisille oppijoille. Tutkimusongelmat tiivistän seuraaviin kysymyksiin: 1) Miten elämys- ja seikkailupedagoginen luontoliikunta soveltuu erilaisille opiskelijoille? 2) Mitä muutoksia vuoden aikana tapahtuu valmentavan ja kuntouttavan opetuksen ja ohjauksen ryhmän opiskelijoissa, ryhmässä ja organisaatiossa? 3) Miten elämys- ja seikkailupedagogine…

The mechanisms of hazardous silicic eruptions are controlled by complex, poorly-understood conduit processes. Observations of recent Chilean rhyolite eruptions have revealed the importance of hybrid activity, involving simultaneous explosive and effusive emissions from a common vent. Such behaviour hinges upon the ability of gas to decouple from magma in the shallow conduit. Tuffisite veins are increasingly suspected to be a key facilitator of outgassing, as they repeatedly provide a transient permeable escape route for volcanic gases. Intersection of foam domains by tuffisite veins appears critical to efficient outgassing. However, knowledge is currently lacking into textural heterogeneiti…

Optimization of Delayed-State Kalman-Filter-based Algorithm via Differential Evolution for Sensorless Control of Induction Motors

2010

This paper proposes the employment of the differential evolution (DE) to offline optimize the covariance matrices of a new reduced delayed-state Kalman-filter (DSKF)-based algorithm which estimates the stator-flux linkage components, in the stationary reference frame, to realize sensorless control of induction motors (IMs). The DSKF-based algorithm uses the derivatives of the stator-flux components as mathematical model and the stator-voltage equations as observation model so that only a vector of four variables has to be offline optimized. Numerical results, carried out using a low-speed training test, show that the proposed DE-based approach is very promising and clearly outperforms a cla…

In-process material characterization at constant extrusion conditions: application to clay/PLA bionanocomposites

2017

The authors developed a prototype modular small-scale single / twin-screw extrusion system, with outputs in the range of grams/hour, coupled to a rheo-optical slit die. This experimental set-up is adequate to measure shear viscosity and normal-stress differences and perform optical measurements

The Contribution of Electrical Resistivity Measurements to the Analysis of Landslide Events

2005

In order to gain insight into the study of natural avalanches dynamics, we illustrate a statistical model based on a dissipative dynamical variable associated to a position dependent factor of safety field. This model, as experimentally demonstrated, is able to reproduce the complex structure of landslide events, such as power-law distributions. In this paper, we introduce an explicit dependence of the safety factor on the electrical resistivity to simulate landslide events in pyroclastic soils. An application of the model to data acquired in a test area characterized by flowslide events (Monte Albino, Campania Region - South Italy) bear witness the relevant role played by the resistivity m…

How Islamic are young Muslim people’s poems?

2019

In this article, I investigate poetry written by two young Muslim people during their spare time. Adopting Shahab Ahmed’s (2016) understanding of Islamic in its plenitude and complexity, I ask how Islamic their texts are. The participants, Neda and Mohammed (both pseudonyms), grew up in Islamic countries where they were socialised in faith literacy practices, including practices around sacred and devotional texts, before moving to Norway in their teens. The data used for this article were collected during two linguistic ethnographies and include poems written in and outside of school, fieldnotes from classroom observations and transcripts from multiple semi-structured interviews. The interv…

Camera trapping the European wildcat (Felis silvestris silvestris) in Sicily (Southern Italy): preliminary results

2009

The wildcat is an elusive species that is threatened with extinction in many parts of its range. In Sicily it still lives in a wide range of habitats. During 2006, camera traps were used to investigate the distribution of the wildcat over a 660 ha wide area on the south-western slope of Mount Etna (NE Sicily). Twelve out of 18 trapping stations provided a total of 24 photographs. Nine different individuals were identified using morphological criteria. Our work confirms the suitability of camera trapping for monitoring elusive carnivores.

"Vorausgesetzt man ist eine Frau" : Die Verwendung der Indefinita man und frau im gleichen Artikel

2017

Geneeristen maskuliinien käyttö on…
