Darbā “Kara ētika - miera sasniegšanas instruments” ir aplūkota kara ētikas attīstība un taisnīga kara mācības aktualitāte mūsdienu kontekstā, analizējot teoriju par taisnīgumu pēc kara un teorijas piedāvātos kara beigšanas priekšnosacījumus. Darba mērķis ir sniegt ieskatu problemātikā, kā taisnīga kara mācības sniegtie priekšnosacījumi spēj būt pielietojami mūsdienās, salīdzinot ar miera ētiku un modernā kara izpratni. Tāpat darbā tiek analizēta morāles un likumu savienojamība pēckara posmā, valsts un starptautisko attiecību ietvarā.

The role of temperament in children's affective and behavioral responses in achievement situations

Abstract Although students' affects and behaviors in achievement situations have been shown to be influenced by their previous learning experiences, less is known about how they relate to students' dispositional characteristics, such as temperament. This study examined to what extent children's temperament is related to their affective and behavioral responses in achievement situations. Teachers rated first-graders' ( n  = 153) temperamental characteristics in the Fall semester. This paper aims to discuss complexity as a key feature for understanding the role of science knowledge in environmental and health contexts—a central issue in Science|Environment|Health pedagogy. Complex systems are, in principle, not predictable. In different contexts, ephemeral mechanisms produce different, sometimes completely unexpected results. Representing the Practice of Teachers' Pedagogical Knowing

This study consists of five international articles and an introductory background review. Its focus is on the nature and structure of teachers' pedagogical knowing. Pedagogical knowing is characterized as an active process by which teachers perform their duties in situations involving intense social interactions. This study treats teachers' pedagogical knowing as a broad theoretical concept and as an extended practice. Patterns of teachers' narratives are analysed as reflecting the general nature of this type of knowing. The theoretical background consists of three concepts. El objetivo de este artículo es analizar la obra Hate de Laetitia Dosch, estrenada en Lausana en 2018, a la luz de teorías recientes sobre la desnudez femenina, la sexualidad entre especies y la subjetividad animal no humana. Con una mujer completamente desnuda y un semental blanco, el espectáculo gira en torno a la posibilidad de comunicación entre especies y la necesidad de reevaluar el significado de la humanidad y la animalidad a través de la representación teatral.
