W niniejszym tekście zaprezentowano wybrane problemy dotyczące dzieci imigrantów. Podstawę stanowiły badania prowadzone wśród dzieci polskich imigrantów w Norwegii. Objęto nimi rodziny pochodzące z jednego regionu, a mianowicie z województwa opolskiego. Miały one na celu ukazanie procesu przystosowania się dzieci do nowego środowiska szkolnego. Ważnym problemem było przygotowanie się do wyjazdu dzieci i ich rodzin, łącznie z nauką języka, rozpoznaniem specyfiki kraju migracji, istotny był również początkowy okres pobytu w kraju przyjmującym. Non-abusing mothers’ agency after disclosure of the child’s extra-familial sexual abuse

This qualitative study analysed the agency of eight non-abusing mothers in the Turkish Cypriot Community after disclosure that their child had been sexually abused by someone outside the family. The aim was to discover how, after disclosure, such mothers act to protect their children in the contexts of their family and community. The data were gathered via semi-structured in-depth interviews and analysed using Interpretative Phenomenological Analysis (IPA). Abstract Riparian ecosystems are crucial for landscape-level biodiversity, especially in highly anthropic and agricultural areas. Although the low mobility of snails reduces their dispersal capacity and makes them vulnerable to habitat degradation, they are less commonly used as indicators. We evaluated the potential of land snails as bioindicators of riparian forest quality in central European riparian forests by surveying snail communities in relation to habitat characteristics that characterize its quality. Bakalaura darba mērķis ir izanalizēt ASV vēstures reprezentāciju Čanga-reja Lī vēsturiskajā romānā Nodotie no transnacionālā viedokļa. Pētījuma mērķa sasniegšanai, tiek izmantotas tādas metodes kā žanra un teksta analīze, akcentējot uzmanību uz romāna tēmām un varoņiem, kā arī izmantojot transnacionālo pieeju konteksta interpretācijai. Empīriskajā daļā tiek apspriests kāpēc Nodotie pieder pie vēsturiskā romāna žanra. Turklāt, galveno varoņu traumatisko pieredžu un likteņu krustošanās nozīme romānā. Analizējot tiek noskaidrota romāna pozīcija Āzijas amerikāņu literatūrā, kā arī kādā veidā tā veicina ASV vēstures pārskatīšanu.
