Tämä maisterintutkielma käsittelee suomalaisten jalkapallokannattajien toisistaan käyttämiä nimityksiä ja niiden semanttista prosodiaa. Tutkimusaineisto on kerätty Suomen aktiivisimmalta jalkapallokannattajien keskustelupalstalta, FutisForum2:lta. Tutkimukseen on kerätty kesäkuun 2006 ja marraskuun 2015 väliseltä ajalta kaikki viestit kahdesta keskusteluketjusta, joiden otsikot ovat ”Merkkejä suomalaisen futiskulttuurin noususta?” ja ”Merkkejä suomalaisen futiskulttuurin laskusta?”. Tämä pro gradu -tutkimus tarkastelee suomalaisen viittomakielen päänliikkeitä. Päänliikkeet ovat osa viitottujen kielten ei-manuaalista (ei käsillä tuotettua) artikulointia ja niillä on tutkitusti monenlaisia funktioita viittomisessa yksittäisestä viittomasta aina tekstitasolle asti. Päänliikkeiden sisäisiä vaiheita ja päänliiketyyppien välisiä eroja on tutkittu vain vähän, ja foneettisesta näkökulmasta ei juuri lainkaan. The Significance of Silent Moments in Creating Words for the Not-Yet-Spoken Experiences in Threat of Divorce

In the context of couple therapy involving the threat of divorce, the study examined the significance of silent moments for arriving at words for the not-yet-spoken experiences. It also examined whether interactional and embodied synchrony occurred during such silent moments. A mixed method analysis was conducted, focusing on the therapeutic dialogue, psychophysiological data (the Autonomic Nervous System, ANS), and the participants’ thoughts and feelings during individual Stimulated Recall interviews. Olika fonetiska drags relativa betydelse för upplevd inföddlikhet i svenska

I den här undersökningen analyseras olika fonetiska drags betydelse för upplevd inföddlikhet i sverigesvenska som andraspråk. Lyssnarna (n = 39) bedömde uttalets målspråklighet i imiterade talprov. Resultaten visar att de segmentella målspråksavvikelserna hade störst betydelse för upplevd inföddlikhet. Målspråksavvikelserna i yttrandeintonation, rytm och tonaccenterna påverkade inte lyssnarna i samma utsträckning som de segmentella bristerna. Prov med L2-intonation och målspråkliga segment fick lika bra bedömning – på gränsen mellan uppfattbar och icke-uppfattbar brytning – som prov med målspråklig intonation och målspråkliga segment.
