Abstract Attributing moral responsibility to an agent requires that the agent is a capable member of a moral community. Capable members of a moral community are often thought of as moral reasoners (or moral persons) and, thus, to attribute moral responsibility to collective agents would require showing that they are capable of moral reasoning. Automatic detection of relevant groups of nodes in large real-world graphs, i.e. community detection, has applications in many fields and has received a lot of attention in the last twenty years. The most popular method designed to find overlapping communities (where a node can belong to several communities) is perhaps the clique percolation method (CPM). This method formalizes the notion of community as a maximal union of $k$-cliques that can be reached from each other through a series of adjacent $k$-cliques, where two cliques are adjacent if and only if they overlap on $k-1$ nodes. The purpose of the thesis is to determine how social media portals treat their users' copyright, and whether such actions are compliant with the national and EU law. In order to conduct this research, Terms of Service of four popular social media – Facebook, Instagram, TikTok and Twitter, were reviewed. As a result, it was concluded that users are agreeing to license agreements that are concluded between them and social media providers and by doing that, users agree to license all their copyright protected works to the social media providers under non-exclusive licenses. This article presents a unifying approach to the analysis of repeated univariate categorical (ordered) responses based on the application of the generalized log-linear modeling framework proposed by Lang and Agresti. It is shown that three important research questions in longitudinal studies can be addressed simultaneously. Biorthogonal Wavelet Transforms Originating from Splines

This chapter describes how to design families of biorthogonal wavelet transforms of signals and respective biorthogonal Wavelet bases in the signal space using spline-based prediction filters. Although the designed Wavelets originate from splines, they are not splines themselves. The design and implementation of the biorthogonal Wavelet transforms is done using the Lifting scheme. Most of the filters participating in the expansion of signals over the presented bases have infinite impulse responses and are implemented by recursive filtering whose computational cost is competitive with the FIR filtering cost.
