Cortázar y Macedonio:Humorismo y deconstrucción

Tanto los no-personajes y los no-lugares macedonianos, como los multiformes, cambiantes e indefinidos seres que pueblan las Historias de Cortázar se presentan como burlas metafísicas. El recorrido de deconstrucción y simulación que Macedonio empieza en sus textos parece alcanzar en la obra de Cortázar su ápice: de una escritura anti mimética y de un sistema autorreferencial se pasa a la posibilidad de ver la otra realidad que se esconde más allá de nuestra visión del mundo, el misterio que hace vacilar certezas seculares, el origen primero de la interminable búsqueda humana de la verdad.
Elementos ideológicos en las unidades fraseológicas con la palabra mujer en el Diccionario académico en los siglos XVIII y XIX

This paper explores ideological elements regarding gender in phraseological units with the word mujer(‘woman’) in the different editions of the dictionarypublished by Real Academia Española during the 18th and the 19th centuries. First, the ideological content in the phraseological units themselves is analyzed. Second, phenomena related to subjectivity in the definitions are analyzed: this evidences subjectivity not only in the different phraseological units presented in the dictionary, but also in the discourse of the academics. Frequency and Density-Dependent Selection on Life-History Strategies - A Field Experiment

Negative frequency-dependence, which favors rare genotypes, promotes the maintenance of genetic variability and is of interest as a potential explanation for genetic differentiation. Density-dependent selection may also promote cyclic changes in frequencies of genotypes. Here we show evidence for both density-dependent and negative frequency-dependent selection on opposite life-history tactics (low or high reproductive effort, RE) in the bank vole (Myodes glareolus). Densitydependent selection was evident among the females with low RE, which were especially favored in low densities. Resilience and the Aging Process: Assessment Tools and Needs

Abstract Successful resilience is a variable often related to an optimal aging process and that might have a role on education. However, literature is rather limited when dealing with assessment instruments for the elderly in the Spanish language. The objective of this work is to examine the Brief Resilient Coping Scale (Sinclair &Wallston, 2004), a four item likert scale, in the Spanish elderly. This scale was administrated to a sample of 920 elderly Spanish participants, and the data set analysed in terms of exploratory and confirmatory factor analysis and internal consistency.
