Study of Collisional Effects on Band Shapes of the ν1/2ν2 Fermi Dyad in CO2 Gas with Stimulated Raman-Spectroscopy .3. Modeling of Collisional Narrow…

1994

0021-9606; High resolution stimulated Raman spectra (SRS) of the ν1/2ν2 Fermi dyad of CO2 have been recorded in the 0.4-22. amagat density range at 700 K and in the 0.6-16 amagat density range at 900 K. The data have been successfully analyzed with a theoretical model taking into account both rotational line mixing through the energy corrected sudden-polynomial (ECS-P) law for the relaxation matrix and vibrational line broadening gamma(v) and line shifting delta(v). The two vibrational parameters have been accurately determined from fit to the experimental spectra. These new high temperature data together with previous data obtained at 295 and 500 K [B. Bias and humidity effects on the ammonia sensing of perylene derivative/lutetium bisphthalocyanine MSDI heterojunctions

2016

International audience; In this paper, we prepared and studied sensors based on Molecular Semiconductor-Doped Insulator (MSDI) heterojunctions. These original devices are built with two stacked layers of molecular materials and exhibit very specific electrical and sensing properties. We studied the properties of a MSDI composed of the perylenetetracarboxylic dianhydride, PTCDA, or the fluorinated perylenebisimine derivative, C4F7-PTCDI, as n-type molecular material sublayers, and LuPc2 as a p-type semiconductor top layer. Their response to ammonia was compared to that of a resistor formed of only the top layer of the MSDI (LuPc2). Ammonia increases the current in the MSDIs whereas it causes…

Color and multispectral image processing for the detection of inflammatory lesions of the stomach

2019

The work presented in this manuscript is part of the ANR project EMMIE. This project aims to develop an innovative multimodal system for the detection of inflammatory lesions in the stomach. To this purpose, a prototype has been developed to be able to acquire NBI endoscopic images and multispectral images during human's antrum exploration. The prototype is made of a standard endoscope and multispectral images. The prototype can acquire two types of data: NBI images and spectra. These two modalities are processed independently. Common image processing features are used to recognize four kind of diseases: active gastritis, chronic gastritis, metaplasia and atrophy. In addition, visual based f…

Molecular dynamics near the glass transition

1993

Solid state 13C NMR spectroscopy has been applied to investigate the time scale and the geometry of rotational motions near the glass transition of the low-molar-mass van der Waals glass former 1,3,5-tri-α-naphthylbenzene (T g = 342 K). Two-dimensional 13C exchange spectra were taken between 347 and 372 K. With the principal values of the 13C chemical shift tensors determined from 13C CP/MAS spectra and static one-dimensional 13C spectra, the two-dimensional spectra are interpreted according to the isotropic rotational diffusional model to yield mean correlation times τ0 in the range 10 ms ˇ- τ0 ˇ- 50 s, and a log-Gaussian distribution of correlation times with a width of 1·5 decades. The m…

Monolayer-to-mesoscale modulation of the optical properties in 2D CrI3 mapped by hyperspectral microscopy

2023

Magnetic 2D materials hold promise to change the miniaturization paradigm of unidirectional photonic components. However, the integration of these materials in devices hinges on the accurate determination of the optical properties down to the monolayer limit, which is still missing. By using hyperspectral wide-field imaging at room temperature, we reveal a nonmonotonic thickness dependence of the complex optical dielectric function in the archetypal magnetic 2D material CrI3 extending across different length scales: onsetting at the mesoscale, peaking at the nanoscale, and decreasing again down to the single layer. These results portray a modification of the electronic properties of the mat…

Systematic study of the physicochemical properties of a homologous series of aminobisphosphonates

2012

ABSTRACT: Aminobisphosphonates, e.g., alendronate and neridronate, are a well known class of molecules used as drugs for various bone diseases. Although these molecules have been available for decades, a detailed understanding of their most important physicochemical properties under comparable conditions is lacking. In this study, ten aminobisphosphonates, H2N(CH2)nC(OH)[P(O)(OH)2]2, in which n = 2-5, 7-11 and 15 have been synthesized. Their aqueous solubility as a function of temperature and pH, pKa-values, thermal stability, IR absorptions, and NMR spectral data for both liquid (1H, 13C, 31P-NMR) and solid state (13C, 15N and 31P-CPMAS NMR) were determined. Sesquiterpenoids in subtribe Centaureinae (Cass.) Dumort (tribe Cardueae, Asteraceae): distribution, (13)C NMR spectral data and biological propertie…

2012

Asteraceae Bercht. & J. Presl is one of the biggest and most economically important plant families. The taxonomy and phylogeny of Asteraceae is rather complex and according to the latest and most reliable taxonomic classification of Panero & Funk, based on the analysis of nine chloroplast regions, the family is divided into 12 subfamilies and 35 tribes. One of the largest tribes of Asteraceae is Cardueae Cass. with four subtribes (Carlininae, Echinopinae, Carduinae and Centaureinae) and more than 2500 species. Susanna & Garcia-Jacas have organized the genera of Centaureinae (about 800 species) into seven informal groups, which recent molecular studies have confirmed: 1. Basal genera; 2. Vol…

Theoretical and experimental NMR studies on muscimol from fly agaric mushroom (Amanita muscaria)

2015

In this article we report results of combined theoretical and experimental NMR studies on muscimol, the bioactive alkaloid from fly agaric mushroom (Amanita muscaria). The assignment of (1)H and (13)C NMR spectra of muscimol in DMSO-d6 was supported by additional two-dimensional heteronuclear correlated spectra (2D NMR) and gauge independent atomic orbital (GIAO) NMR calculations using density functional theory (DFT). The effect of solvent in theoretical calculations was included via polarized continuum model (PCM) and the hybrid three-parameter B3LYP density functional in combination with 6-311++G(3df,2pd) basis set enabled calculation of reliable structures of non-ionized (neutral) molecu…

Non-negative blind source separation techniques for tumor tissue typing using HR-MAS signals.

2010

Given High Resolution Magic Angle Spinning (HR-MAS) signals from several glioblastoma tumor subjects, the goal is to differentiate between tumor tissue types by separating the different sources that contribute to the profile of each spectrum. Blind source separation techniques are applied for obtaining characteristic profiles for necrosis, high cellular tumor and border tumor tissue, and providing the contribution (abundance) of each tumor tissue to the profile of the spectra. The problem is formulated as a non-negative source separation problem. We illustrate the effectiveness of the proposed methods and we analyze to which extent the dimension of the input space could influence the perfor…
