L'ambition des Néoclassiques est d'établir une loi scientifique de la répartition qu’ils expliquent essentiellement de deux façons. La première explication est fondée sur la productivité marginale des facteurs déterminée à la production. L’occupation se caractérise tout d’abord par une batterie au moins une soixantaine de silos de la transition entre le premier et le second Âge du Fer avec un bruit de fond Néolithique (mobilier résiduel) et Bronze final (quelques fosses et silos). Certains de ces silos ont livré un important mobilier céramique qui, couplé à des rejets de forges et des objets attestant d’un travail de tissage, pourrait indiquer la présence d’un habitat associé à proximité immédiate. The paper analyses three cases of feminine solitude as depicted in three novels belonging to the Realist and Naturalist movement. Flaubert’s Emma Bovary considers herself superior to the others who neither understand her nor see who she really is, and thus suffers during all her life and finally commits suicide. Zola’s Hélène Grandjean (One Page of Love) is not aware of the falseness of her life mode of an honest widow incapable of having a passionate love affair, and this unawareness costs her the life of her child. L'articolo presenta la ricostruzione fonologica in diacronia degli esiti della sonante nasale indoeuropea nel greco antico. In particolare, attraverso un'analisi tipologico-comparativa, che pure attinge ai dati provenienti dalla ricerca archeologica, storica ed epigrafica, viene dimostrato come la presunta irregolarità dell'esito "an" in luogo di "a" davanti a consonante in alcuni tra i più antichi termini del lessico greco (tra cui mantis) sia in realtà da attribuirsi ad un esito originario "an", che accomunerebbe il greco antico alla maggior parte delle altre lingue sorelle indoeuropee antiche, dall'ittita al frigio, dall'antico irlandese all'armeno, dal bretone al celtiberico, ecc. Domain-Specific Risk and Public Policy

We develop a method to estimate domain-specific risk. We apply the method to sickness insurance by fitting a utility function at the individual level, using European survey data on life satisfaction. Three results stand out. First, relative risk aversion increases with income. Second, marginal utility is higher in the sick state conditional on income, due to an observed fixed cost of sickness. Third, the domain-specificity of risk shifts the focus on the smoothing of utility, not consumption. The optimal policy rule implies that the replacement rates should be non-linear and decrease with income. nonPeerReviewed
