Abstract Recently collected material, in fine- to medium-grained biocalcarenites and in coeval flint nodules, of the tegulated inoceramid taxa Spyridoceramus tegulatus (von Hagenow, 1842) and Tenuipteria argentea (Conrad, 1858) from various members of the Gulpen Formation and the overlying Maastricht Formation allows their stratigraphical ranges to be refined. Optically-corrected elemental images for undistorted Integral image display

Conventional macro objectives are generally used as relay systems in the capture stage in Integral Imaging. This choice leads to microimage overlap and shift, which produce undesirable effects on the reconstructed three-dimensional images, such as loss in resolution and image distortions. In this paper, we propose and demonstrate a new architecture for the capture stage. Our method uses a telecentric relay system to overcome the conventional drawbacks. Experiments conducted with our system show an important improvement in the quality of displayed images.

Responsive versus Treatment-Resistant Perpetrators in Batterer Intervention Programs: Personal Characteristics and Stages of Change.

This article aims to identify different personal characteristics in treatment-responsive and treatment-resistant perpetrators of intimate partner violence who completed a batterer intervention program (BIP). The sample consists of 105 perpetrators of intimate partner violence who were court-mandated to a community-based cognitive behavioral program. Perpetrators were classified by professionals as resistant or responsive to treatment based on the stage of change they reached upon completion of the program. Early-stage small-bowel adenocarcinoma: a review of local endoscopic therapy.

Early adenocarcinomas in the small intestine are a rare entity. Most adenocarcinomas in the small intestine are diagnosed at a more advanced stage. After surgical resection, only 3 - 10 % are found in stage T1 and 0 - 3 % in stage Tis (high-grade intraepithelial neoplasia), resulting in an overall 3 - 13 % rate of early-stage small-intestinal adenocarcinomas. The diagnosis of early small-intestinal carcinoma by endoscopy is still very rare, although it will probably improve with the development of new endoscopic techniques. The objective of this study was to assess the addition of transvaginal color Doppler imaging to transvaginal ultrasonography and beta-human chorionic gonadotropin values to differentiate between developin and involuting ectopic pregnancies.
