Ņemot vērā notikuma nozīmi un tiešsaistes ziņu lomu informācijas nodošanā mūsdienās, šī pētījuma mērķis bija parādīt lingvistisko un vizuālo līdzekļu integratīvo lomu nozīmes veidošanā, attēlojot Amerikas Savienoto Valstu prezidenta Džo Baidena inaugurāciju kā svarīgu notikumu tiešsaistes ziņās. Joke’s on You : So-called undocumented students in the US

This chapter focuses on the experience of undocumented college students in the USA. While K‐12 education has been opened to undocumented students, at least on paper, since the landmark case Plyler vs. Doe, college education remains a highly precarious terrain for undocumented students, which offers little to no legal protection. Within the United States, the situation of undocumented college students differs greatly among individual states. Internal conversion from excited electronic states of 229Th ions

The process of internal conversion from excited electronic states is investigated theoretically for the case of the vacuum-ultraviolet nuclear transition of 229 Th . Due to the very low transition energy, the 229 Th nucleus offers the unique possibility to open the otherwise forbidden internal conversion nuclear decay channel for thorium ions via optical laser excitation of the electronic shell. We show that this feature can be exploited to investigate the isomeric state properties via observation of internal conversion from excited electronic configurations of Th + and Th 2 + ions. A Selenium-Nitrogen Chain with Selenium in Different Oxidation States

The reaction of tBuNH2 with a mixture of SeCl2 and SeOCl2 in a 6:2:1 molar ratio produces the novel selenium-nitrogen chain ClSeN(tBu)Se(O)Cl (4), in which the selenium atoms are in two different oxidation states, SeII and SeIV. The crystal structure of 4 is compared with that of the related SeII/SeII system ClSeN(tBu)SeCl (1) and differences are attributed to hyperconjugative effects. The energetics of the formation of 4 via two different routes are elucidated by PBE0/def2-TZVPP calculations. peerReviewed
Centrality dependence of ψ(2S) suppression in p-Pb collisions at √sNN = 5.02 TeV

The inclusive production of the ψ(2S) charmonium state was studied as a function of centrality in p-Pb collisions at the nucleon-nucleon center of mass energy √ sNN = 5.02 TeV at the CERN LHC. The measurement was performed with the ALICE detector in the center of mass rapidity ranges −4.46 < ycms < −2.96 and 2.03 < ycms < 3.53, down to zero transverse momentum, by reconstructing the ψ(2S) decay to a muon pair. The ψ(2S) production cross section σψ(2S) is presented as a function of the collision centrality, which is estimated through the energy deposited in forward rapidity calorimeters. Zjawisko korupcji w stabilnych, zamożnych państwach demokratycznych określanych mianem demokracji skonsolidowanych było przez długi czas ignorowane przez badaczy. Jednak w ostatnim dziesięcioleciu XX wieku pojawiły się czynniki, które doprowadziły do instytucjonalizacji kwestii korupcji w dojrzałych demokracjach. Tę zmianę obserwujemy również w Finlandii, która według Indeksu Percepcji Korupcji publikowanym przez Transparency International jest postrzegana jako jedno z najmniej skorumpowanych państw świata. Vairāki psihiskie traucējumi ir saistīti ar psoriāzi, etiopatoģenēze ir daudzveidīga. Dažas psihiskas blakusslimības var rasties hroniskas ādas slimības psihosociālās ietekmes rezultātā. No otras puses, psoriāzi var uzturēt un saasināt pacienta esošais psihiskais stāvoklis, tādējādi veidojot apburto loku. Bērnības pieredze nosaka to, kā veidosies cilvēka personības stiprās un vājās puses, tā ietekmē reakciju uz saslimšanu, tajā skaitā- psoriāzi.
