Effects of Rule Changes on Game-Related Statistics in Men's Water Polo Matches

The aim of this study was to investigate the effects of rule changes on game-related statistics in men's water polo matches. A total of 856 men's matches played in all Olympic Games and World Championship since 1936 was analysed. The game-related statistics considered were: total goals, winners' goals, losers' goals, goals per minute, goals difference, relationship difference goals and total goals, and relationship difference goals and winners' goals. The rule changes were grouped by structural (game and period) and functional changes (possession time, exclusion time, timing, minimum distance to take a direct shot). Simple Summary Non-small cell lung cancer (NSCLC) is the second most commonly diagnosed cancer and the leading cause of cancer-related death worldwide. Clinical decision-making depends on the histological classification; however, tissue biopsy is frequently not technically feasible due to tumor location or limited tissue samples. Therefore, we propose to find clinical, molecular and histological biomarkers using a minimally invasive approach based on the analysis of the cargo of the blood extracellular vesicles. The ALHAMBRA survey: evolution of galaxy clustering since z∼1

We study the clustering of galaxies as function of luminosity and redshift in the range $0.35 < z < 1.25$ using data from the Advanced Large Homogeneous Area Medium Band Redshift Astronomical (ALHAMBRA) survey. The ALHAMBRA data used in this work cover $2.38 \mathrm{deg}^2$ in 7 independent fields, after applying a detailed angular selection mask, with accurate photometric redshifts, $��_z \lesssim 0.014 (1+z)$, down to $I_{\rm AB} < 24$. Given the depth of the survey, we select samples in $B$-band luminosity down to $L^{\rm th} \simeq 0.16 L^{*}$ at $z = 0.9$. Context: In preparation for the COROT mission, an exhaustive photometric study of Be stars located in the seismology fields of the COROT mission has been performed. The very precise and long-time-spanned photometric observations gathered by the COROT satellite will give important clues of the origin of the Be phenomenon. Agreement and disagreement between expectations and realizations

The objective of the paper is to measure the intensity of the relation between expectations and realizations for strategic variables of firms, such as production, demand or prices. An anticipation error reveals a disagreement which can be associated with the rational expectations hypothesis. The agreement coefficient between classifications, given by COHEN (1968) and LIGHT (1971) and calculated from a probability matrix, is used to define a direct measure of the disagreement between classifications. Comparison of the coefficients is used to test the rational expectations hypothesis.The coefficients are applied to business survey data of INSEE for France between 1974 and 1986.
