ResumenEl presente trabajo busca evaluar la creación de empresas por parte de exempleados de empresas multinacionales de inversión extranjera directa. En concreto, se busca dimensionar el fenómeno, caracterizarlo, así como valorar el desempeño de las empresas creadas. El estudio se hizo mediante un muestreo aleatorio simple con margen de error del 7% y nivel de confianza del 95%, sobre una base de datos de 11.120 exempleados de empresas multinacionales en Costa Rica (n=175). Además se utilizó un grupo control ad hoc. Este artículo analiza las diferencias en el nivel de supervivencia entre el emprendimiento social y el emprendimiento de negocios, así como el efecto de la formación, experiencia y motivación para emprender sobre la supervivencia. Dada la naturaleza de las variables dependientes, se optó por utilizar la prueba de Pearson, la prueba de Mann-Whitney para dos muestras independientes y el modelo logit sobre una muestra de 2.175 empresas. Dietary behaviour and competition for vegetal resources in two Early Miocene pecoran ruminants from Central Spain

ABSTRACT Dietary behaviour and competition for resources are investigated for the small-sized ruminants Andegameryx Ginsburg, 1971 and Procervulus Gaudry, 1877 representatives of two largely distinct states of diversification of pecorans. Results obtained from dental microwear and mesowear methodologies are concordant with a mixed feeder strategy for the taxa from the Early Miocene environments of the Iberian Chain (Central Spain). This book chapter aims to contribute to increase our understanding of how e-Commerce strategy is designed, implemented, and influenced by family dynamics in family businesses, in China. Our research followed an exploratory and qualitative approach to analyse e-Commerce adoption by three Chinese family businesses, two of which were located in Beijing and one in Xinjiang. International audience; Relationship between start of the rainy season and farmer's planting date have been analysed at local scale through in situ daily rainfall records and agronomical measurement provided by on-farm survey at plot scale for 10 villages network located on the mesoscale AMMA-CATCH Niger site during the 2004-2007 rainy seasons. [EN] The use of anaerobic membrane bioreactor (AnMBR) technology on urban wastewater can help to alleviate droughts, by reusing the water and nutrients embedded in the effluent in agriculture (fertigation) in line with Circular Economy principles. The combination of AnMBR and fertigation reduces CO2 emissions due to the organic matter valorization and the partial avoidance of mineral fertilizer requirements.
