The influence of the personality of asthmatic children and their mothers on the course of their illness is analysed, taking as a basis a sample of 48 asthmatic children. This is done through the assessment of the role of personality in the change that takes place, after the application of various psychological treatments (relaxation, systematic desensitization and stress inoculation) in three variables: number of days of illness, symptomatic relief drug use and school absences. The relationship between stress and drug use is well demonstrated. Stress-induced by repeated social defeat (RSD) enhances the conditioned place preference (CPP) induced by cocaine in mice. The phenomenon of resilience understood as the ability of subjects to overcome the negative effects of stress is the focus of increasing interest. Our aim is to characterize the behavior of resilient animals with respect to the effects of RSD on the CPP induced by cocaine. Stress and Recovery Responses during a 105-day Ground-based Space Simulation

The present study analysed the time course of the psychological process of stress and recovery in six healthy male volunteers during the Mars 105 experimentation, a 105-day ground-based space analogue. The multidimensional assessment of stress and recovery responses showed that stress levels decreased significantly throughout the 105-day isolated and confined extreme (ICE) experiment, especially on its social dimension. In line with previous studies, Fatigue showed a global and progressive reduction. Abstract The clinical spectrum of coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID‐19) is wide, ranging from minor, nonspecific symptoms to severe pneumonia, acute respiratory distress syndrome, multiorgan involvement, and shock.
