The work-family interface and its correlates : integrating variable and person oriented approaches

The aim of this research was to examine key correlates of the interaction between work and family in one Nordic country, Finland, using a person- oriented and variable-oriented approach. The correlates that were chosen and examined over the course of three studies were job control and work-family boundary management styles, turnover intention, core self-evaluations, and vigor at work. W artykule poruszono zagadnienie charakteru dysput lingwistycznych oraz specyficznych sposobów wyrażania w nich krytyki. Rozważania nad retoryką krytyki w dyskursie akademickim poświęcono sporom językoznawców, przede wszystkim dlatego, że jest to grupa związana z dyskursem akademickim w sposób szczególny. Wiąże się to z jej uczestnictwem w życiu naukowym, a także powołaniem do refleksji nad językiem. Można się zatem spodziewać, że prowadzone przez lingwistów dyskusje będą miały charakter niejako wzorcowy. Analizowany materiał stanowią artykuły opublikowane na łamach czasopisma "Język Polski" na przestrzeni dziesięciu lat (1998-2008).
The Profiles of Body Image Associate With Changes in Depression Among Participants in Dance Movement Therapy Group

This mixed-methods study analyzed the body image quality of 143 patients with depression. The participants received a 20 × 75 min dance movement therapy (DMT) group treatment, sessions twice a week. Body Image Assessment (BIA) was the data collection tool, with pre-, post-, and 3-mos follow-up assessments. Pre-intervention body image quality characteristics were low energy and activity levels, discomfort, shame and disgust toward the body, tension in social interactions. Dance movement therapy for depressed clients : Profiles of the level and changes in depression

This research identified participant profiles in level and changes in depression among working age (18–64 years old) clients (N = 137) diagnosed with depression, who participated in a 20-session dance movement therapy (DMT) intervention. Using Latent Profile Analysis Mild, sharply reducing depression (9%), Mild, reducing depression (58%) and Severe, reducing depression (33%) profiles were established, using Beck Depression Inventory scores gathered at pre-intervention, post-intervention, and follow-up points. This paper investigates the international retirement migration from elderly northern Europeans into Spain and its influence on expansion of urban sprawl there. Key themes analyzed in this paper include the urban sprawl expansion during the Spanish housing bubble, and the link between lifestyle migrants and urban sprawl development. This paper considers the reasons for moving to Spain, which are chiefly related with the climate and lifestyle. It also explores the benefits and drawbacks of these en masse lifestyle migration and the environmental and landscape impacts on Mediterranean Spain.
