AbstractThe long-term sustainment of bullying prevention programs has rarely been investigated. This study addresses this gap by identifying facilitators and barriers to the systematic implementation of KiVa antibullying program in real-life conditions, after an evaluation trial. The study is based on focus group interviews with teachers from 15 Finnish primary schools implementing the KiVa program. Bullying and social anxiety experiences in university learning situations

This study examines how individuals’ engagement in bullying at school and at university relates to the anxiety they feel in general and in various learning situations in which students interact during their higher education. It was predicted that, of the individuals who have experiences of bullying (in the role of bully, victim, or in a dual role as bully-victim), those who have been subjected to bullying experience more anxiety than do those who have no experience with bullying. Koulukiusaamisen ennaltaehkäseminen osana luokan toimintakulttuuria

Teimme tapaustutkimuksen alkuopetuksen luokkaan, jossa tutkimme paljon huomiota saanutta ilmiötä koulukiusaamista. Tutkimme mitä kiusaaminen on oppilaiden ja opettajan mielestä, esiintyykö tutkimusluokassa kiusaamista, miten siihen puututaan ja kuinka luokanopettaja ennaltaehkäisee koulukiusaamisen syntymistä. Käytimme tutkimiseen kouluetnografista lähestymistapaa, johon sisältyi havainnointia, haastatteluja sekä sosiometrisen mittauksen toteuttaminen luokassa. Tutkimuksen tarkoitus oli selvittää alakoulun luokanopettajien käsityksiä ja kokemuksia koulussa käytössä olevasta kiusaamisen vastaisesta interventiomallista, KiVa Koulu -ohjelmasta tai Vaakamalli -koulutuksesta. Tarkoituksena oli myös selvittää, miten interventiomalli auttaa opettajia havaitsemaan ja ennaltaehkäisemään kiusaamista ja puuttumaan siihen. Lisäksi pyrittiin saamaan selville, mitkä asiat saavat opettajat sitoutumaan mallin käyttöön ja miten mallia koulujen arjessa toteutetaan.
