This article investigates the narratives employed by the Romanian media in covering the development of COVID-19 in Roma communities in Romania. This paper aims to contribute to academic literature on Romani studies, particularly in Central and Eastern Europe, by adopting as its case study the town of Ţăndărei, a small town in the south of Romania, which in early 2020 was widely reported by Romanian media during both the pre- and post-quarantine period. The paper focuses the survey and representation of the Pisana Tower in the Royal Palace of Palermo. The tower, which has recently been inserted in the UNESCO World Heritage List, was built in the XII century under the patronage of Norman kings. Along the centuries, the tower has undergone several transformations, to fit ever-changing uses. In this chapter, we scrutinise the Russian state’s regulation for political purposes of the Russian-language section of the internet or ‘Runet’, as it is often dubbed in Russia. We will focus on those regulative actions which came into force during and after the protest wave in Russia in 2011–2013. Internet and social media played an important role in the mobilisation of these protests that challenged the legitimacy of the ruling elite. We argue that the protests marked a watershed moment in the Russian government’s information policy, which had previously mainly functioned through the control of the federal Russian TV channels. El presente artículo pretende analizar, a partir de diversos casos documentados en la segunda mitad del siglo XIV en la ciudad de Valencia, como las mujeres intervinieron a menudo en la atención médica de las personas con las que convivían, empezando por familiares, pero también vecinos, amigos o clientes. Se analizará el tipo de asistencia y las condiciones en que ésta se desarrollaba. Se pretende con ello demostrar el destacado papel que tuvieron en la medicina, muchas veces silenciado por no formar parte del colectivo masculino que practicaba de forma más o menos regulada el arte de curar.

Tässä kriittisessä esseessä luon yleiskatsauksen koulutuksen digitaalisen datafikaation erilaisiin muotoihin ja merkityksiin erityisesti kotimaisessa kontekstissa. Esseessä käyn läpi datafikaation suhdetta muihin koulutusta ohjaaviin trendeihin, erityisesti digitalisaatioon, oppimiskeskeisyyteen ja tulosvastuullisuuteen. Lisäksi tarkastelen datan ja datan diskursiivisen tuottamisen välistä epäsuhtaa, josta jatkan koulun dataintensiivisten käytäntöjen kautta tapahtuvan jatkuvan datankeruun luonnollistumisen tarkasteluun. Handlungen wie beschimpfen, diskriminieren oder auch bedrohen, die heutzutage unter anderem in sozialen Netzwerken immer häufiger vorkommen und unter der Bezeichnung ‘Hate Speech’ subsumiert werden, sind dementsprechend Sprach-Handlungen und somit Gegenstand der Linguistikforschung. Ziel des Vortrags ist also, auf Grund unterschiedlichen Materials aus dem frankophonen Raum zu zeigen, wie Recht und Rechtsprechung damit umgehen und inwieweit pragma-semantische Grundkategorien zur Klärung solcher Fälle beitragen können.
