The Contribution of Religiosity and Optimism on Well-Being of Youth and Emerging Adults in Italy

In line with Positive Youth Development (PYD) framework positing that religion can provide youth with resources to thrive, this chapter presents a contribution analyzing the associations between religiosity and well-being among middle and late adolescents, and emerging adults in Italy. In fact, this country is a relevant context for studying this topic, considering the social and historical presence of Catholicism. International audience; Quelle est la place du travail dans la vie des jeunes ? Leurs rapports au travail se déclinent au pluriel avec une multiplicité d'informations subjectives, tiraillées entre représentations positives et négatives, variées selon leurs parcours. Au-delà de leurs expériences et de leurs attentes, les jeunes interrogés accordent une importance forte au travail, "entre plaisir et contrainte", dans un contexte pourtant caractérisé par une plus grande incertitude et instabilité du marché du travail.

Aims: The aim was to examine whether the level of optimism and job and life satisfaction is a differentiating factor from the level of implicit rationing of nursing care in a sample of Polish registered nurses. Teacher stress and coping over an autumn term in Finland

Abstract Psychological stress, coping process and the relationships between stress and coping were examined among 66 teachers representing comprehensive and upper secondary schools in Finland. The research design was longitudinal. Each person was studied four times during the autumn term of 1991 using questionnaires, which were focused on teachers' stress feelings, ways of coping and social relations to colleagues and pupils during Mondays to Thursdays and Friday morning lessons. Resumen El objetivo de este trabajo fue analizar cómo la sostenibilidad (económica, social y ambiental), bajo el enfoque de triple línea base, afecta la calidad de servicio, el valor logístico y la satisfacción en empresas del sector marítimo.
