The study analyzes five hoards from some indigenous centers of Sicily, paying particular attention above all to the methods of deposition and the context of discovery in order to advance reflections on their function and destination. Since these are complexes found in the vicinity or within sacred places, it is however possible to further circumscribe the interpretative possibilities. Assessing satisfaction of tourists visiting Italian museums: eviden from the eWOM

Museum visitors’ satisfaction is a priority asset for those museums aiming at being competitive in the cultural tourism sector. In this study, evaluations by visitor-tourists, left in their reviews on museums on the TripAdvisor platform, are analysed. Through web scraping, we collected comments for twelve Italian museums left during the year 2019. The content analysis focussed on components of the tourists’ satisfaction among Italian and foreign museum visitors, with emotional response, management, and exhibitions emerging as key concepts in museum’s evaluation. Experimental and numerical investigation of heat transfer and fluid flow were conducted for classic heat exchanger elements (flat plate with fin-tubes in-line, staggered and with vortex generators) and corrugated-undulated ducts under transitional and weakly turbulent conditions. The dependence of average heat transfer and pressure drop on Reynolds number and geometrical parameters was investigated. Previous studies mainly concentrate on the detrimental environmental impact of e-scrappers activities, the economic and political influences of e-waste on the e-scrappers, the material flow of e-waste and the exportation of valuable e-waste extracts from highly industrialized countries to less industrialized countries. Maģistra darbs pielieto ekonomisko ziņu noskaņojuma indeksu, lai atrisinātu paradoksu starp nepieciešamību pēc biežākām makroekonomisko prognožu atjauninājumiem un nepietiekamu attiecīgo rādītāju atjaunošanas biežumu. Izmantojot modernākas datu zinātnes metodes, tika iegūts ikdienu ziņu noskaņojuma indekss, lai izpētītu, vai ziņu noskaņojums ir piemērots, prognozējot nodarbinātības dinamiku Dānijā, un uzlabotu prognozes precizitāti modelī. Analīze rāda, ka pastāv statistiska saistība starp nodarbinātības dinamiku un ziņu noskaņojumu, un ka noskaņojuma rādītāju izmantošana var palielināt nodarbinātības datu prognozēšanas precizitāti īsos prognozēšanas periodos.
Screening of halogenated aromatic compounds in some raw material lots for an aluminium recycling plant

Four samples of scrap raw materials for an aluminium recycling plant were screened for the occurrence of persistent halogenated aromatic compounds. The samples contained waste from handling of electric and electronic plastics, filter dust from electronic crusher, cyclone dust from electronic crusher and light fluff from car shredder. In our screening analyses, brominated flame retardants were observed in all samples. Polybrominated diphenyl ethers (PBDE) were identified in all samples in amounts of 245–67450 ng/g. Research literature clustering using diffusion maps

We apply the knowledge discovery process to the mapping of current topics in a particular field of science. We are interested in how articles form clusters and what are the contents of the found clusters. A framework involving web scraping, keyword extraction, dimensionality reduction and clustering using the diffusion map algorithm is presented. We use publicly available information about articles in high-impact journals. The method should be of use to practitioners or scientists who want to overview recent research in a field of science.
