Riesz-Fischer Maps, Semi-frames and Frames in Rigged Hilbert Spaces

In this note we present a review, some considerations and new results about maps with values in a distribution space and domain in a σ-finite measure space X. Namely, this is a survey about Bessel maps, frames and bases (in particular Riesz and Gel’fand bases) in a distribution space. In this setting, the Riesz-Fischer maps and semi-frames are defined and new results about them are obtained. Some examples in tempered distributions space are examined.

A comparison between two feature selection algorithms

This article provides a comparison of two feature selection algorithms, Information Gain Thresholding and Koller and Sahami's algorithm in the context of text document classification on the Reuters Corpus Volume 1 dataset. The algorithms were evaluated by testing the performance of classifiers trained on the features they select from a given dataset. Results show that Koller and Sahami's algorithm consistently outperforms Information Gain Thresholding by capturing interactions between features and avoiding redundancy among features, although it achieves its gains through increased complexity and longer running time.

Synchrony, or the moment-by-moment coordination between people in social situations, has been connected with increased liking and rapport. However, this type of synchrony is an underexplored area with regard to autonomic nervous system activity. The purpose of this research was to study physiological synchrony between participants in couple therapy by focusing on the sympathetic nervous system (SNS), which reflects arousal and emotional reactions. Aims To investigate women's childbirth experiences and their relation to self-esteem development in the postpartum year. Design A mixed methods study. Methods Women (N = 125) completed survey questionnaires regarding their self-esteem and childbirth experiences at three time points in 2020–2021: third trimester of pregnancy (T1), 4–8 weeks postpartum (T2) and 1 year postpartum (T3). The survey results were analysed using qualitative thematic and quantitative path analyses with latent change factors. An efficient and highly stereoselective one-pot, four-component synthesis of functionalized tricyclic chromanes has been achieved through an organocatalyzed quadruple domino reaction. The reaction sequence involves an oxa-Michael/Michael/Michael/aldol condensation between alcohols, 2 equiv of acrolein, and nitrochromenes to generate the pharmaceutically important tricyclic chromanes bearing three contiguous stereogenic centers including a chiral tetrasubstituted carbon center in good domino yields (30–70%) and excellent diastereo- and enantioselectivities (>20:1 dr and >99% ee). peerReviewed

σ1 and/or σ2 receptors play a crucial role in pathological conditions such as pain, neurodegenerative disorders, and cancer. A set of spirocyclic cyclohexanes with diverse O-heterocycles and amino moieties (general structure III) was prepared and pharmacologically evaluated. In structure-activity relationships studies, the σ1 receptor affinity and σ1:σ2 selectivity were correlated with the stereochemistry, the kind and substitution pattern of the O-heterocycle, and the substituents at the exocyclic amino moiety. cis-configured 2-benzopyran cis-11b bearing a methoxy group and a tertiary cyclohexylmethylamino moiety showed the highest σ1 affinity ( Ki = 1.9 nM) of this series of compounds. Tika pētīti skolēnu veselīga dzīvesveida noteicošie faktori un patiesie paradumi. Studiju darba teorijas izpētes daļā tika apskatītas un salīdzinātas dažādu autoru atziņas par veselīgu dzīvesveidu sākumskolas vecuma skolēniem, tā variācijām, ietekmējošajiem aspektiem un procesa attīstību kopumā.
