Laaja kyselyaineisto ulkosuomalaisten poliittisesta osallistumisesta

Vaikka ulkosuomalaisten määrä on ollut tasaisessa kasvussa viimeisten parinkymmenen vuoden ajan, heidän poliittinen painoarvonsa on säilynyt vähäisenä. Ulkomailla asuu yli 250 000 äänioikeutettua, mutta vain noin kymmenen prosenttia heistä äänestää Suomen vaaleissa. Kevään 2019 eduskuntavaaleissa oli ensimmäistä kertaa mahdollista äänestää kirjeitse ulkomailta. Muiden maiden kokemusten perusteella voidaan odottaa, että kirjeäänestys tulee pitkällä aikavälillä vaikuttamaan myönteisesti ulkomailla asuvien äänioikeutettujen äänestysaktiivisuuteen. Synthesis of nanostructured protein–mineral-microcapsules by sonication

We propose a simple and eco-friendly method for the formation of composite protein–mineral-microcapsules induced by ultrasound treatment. Protein- and nanoparticle-stabilized oil-in-water (O/W) emulsions loaded with different oils are prepared using high-intensity ultrasound. The formation of thin composite mineral proteinaceous shells is realized with various types of nanoparticles, which are pre-modified with Bovine Serum Albumin (BSA) and subsequently characterized by EDX, TGA, zeta potential measurements and Raman spectroscopy. Folkehelseinstituttet (2016) konkluderer med at 15 til 20 prosent av alle norske ungdommer til enhver tid har nedsatt funksjon grunnet psykiske vansker. Samtidig viser Bakken (2016) til at ni prosent av guttene og 26 prosent av jentene fra 10. klassetrinn til Vg3 har høyt nivå av depressive symptomer. Det er i denne forbindelse verdt å merke seg at Raknes med flere (2017) finner at ungdom oftere har dårligere livskvalitet på skolen enn det de har hjemme. Protective and Educational Effects of Physical Activity Practice on Mental Health in Young Age during COVID-19 Lockdown

Background: The restrictions imposed by the COVID-19 pandemic have modified the lifestyle of young people, worsening their mental health. Although some countries were allowed to practice outdoor physical activity (PA) in cases of lockdown, the PA level in the general population decreased. The current study aims to assess the differences in fear of COVID-19, anxiety, neuroticism, and general self-efficacy between university students who practiced PA during the second wave of lockdown and those who did not practice any PA.
