Maģistra darba nosaukums ir „Dzīvo nieres donoru lēmuma pieņemšanas aksioloģiskais pamatojums”. Darba mērķis ir atklāt, kāpēc indivīds izvēlas kļūt par nieres donoru. Tēma Latvijā līdz šim nav pētīta. Darbā izmantoju dokumentu analīzi, mēdiju rakstu kontentanalīzi un interviju analīzi. Intervijas veiktas šī pētījuma ietvaros ar dzīvajiem nieres donoriem; papildus veikta viena eksperta intervija. Darba teorijā skatu citos vērtību pētījumos izmantotas vērtību struktūras. Kā nozīmīgas izvirzu dzīves kvalitātes pētījumos un bioētikā ietvertās vērtības. Chemically defended animals often display conspicuous color patterns that predators learn to associate with their unprofitability and subsequently avoid. Such animals (i.e., aposematic), deter predators by stimulating their visual and chemical sensory channels. Hence, aposematism is considered to be “multimodal.” The evolution of warning signals (and to a lesser degree their accompanying chemical defenses) is fundamentally linked to natural selection by predators. Water in stereoselective organocatalytic reactions

In this review, recent advances in asymmetric organocatalytic reactions carried out with variable amounts of water, from substoichiometric to a large excess (reaction medium), are discussed. We also summarize several proposed mechanisms for the different possibilities of the action of water both in the increased activity of the catalyst and in the asymmetric induction. Finally, the application of this catalytic methodology to the enantioselective synthesis of valuable compounds through enamine or iminium catalysis is presented.

Anomaly detection has become a popular research topic in the field of machine learning. Support vector machine is one anomaly detection technique and it is coming one the most widely used. In this research, anomaly detection is applied to road condition monitoring, especially pothole detection, using accelerometer data. The proposed concept includes data preprocessing, feature extraction, feature selection and classification. Ortho -Functionalized Aryltetrazines by Direct Palladium-Catalyzed C−H Halogenation: Application to Fast Electrophilic Fluorination Reactions

International audience; A general catalyzed direct C-H functionalization of s-tetrazines is reported. Under mild reaction conditions, N-directed ortho-C-H activation of tetrazines allows the introduction of various functional groups, thus forming carbon-heteroatom bonds: C-X (X=I, Br, Cl) and C-O. Based on this methodology, we developed electrophilic mono- and poly-ortho-fluorination of tetrazines. Microwave irradiation was optimized to afford fluorinated s-aryltetrazines, with satisfactory selectivity, within only ten minutes.
