Abstract Traffic surveillance is an important issue for Intelligent Transportation Systems (ITS) that helps detect incidents automatically, such as wrong-way drivers, still-standing vehicles and jams. Sometimes these systems require a fast and short-term deployment of video cameras. In these cases, ad-hoc networks could be a low-cost and feasible option, but they have poor performance for video delivery. Abstract In this paper, an active Fault Tolerant Tracking Controller (FTTC) scheme dedicated to vehicle dynamics system is proposed. To address the challenging problem, an uncertain dynamic model of the vehicle is firstly developed, by considering the lateral forces nonlinearities as a Takagi–Sugeno (TS) representation, the sideslip angle as unmeasurable premise variables and the road bank angle as an unknown input. The prediction of key variables has great significance to monitor the running status of industrial systems. In this paper, a novel data-driven design of variable predictor is proposed. The basic idea is the realization of prediction observer, which is modified from the observer-based fault diagnose method. In modern networks, HTTP clients communicate with web servers using request messages. By manipulating these messages attackers can collect confidential information from servers or even corrupt them. In this study, the approach based on anomaly detection is considered to find such attacks. For HTTP queries, feature matrices are obtained by applying an n-gram model, and, by learning on the basis of these matrices, growing hierarchical self-organizing maps are constructed.
