Smart parking system - another way of sharing economy provided by private institutions

This paper presents our smart parking solution implemented at “Lucian Blaga” University of Sibiu (LBUS) Romania, which consists in a hardware / software embedded system for managing the institution’s parking lots, namely sharing the parking places in excess for people who are in traffic in neighbourhood of LBUS and are looking to park. Our solution is flexible, universal, applicable to all faculties that have car parks from Romania and not only, in university cities where the crowd is bigger, but also to other private institutions that own parking spaces inefficiently exploited. Bakalaura darba “Dalīšanās ekonomika tūrismā” mērķis ir, pamatojoties uz speciālās literatūras analīzi un empīrisku pētījumu, izstrādāt priekšlikumus dalīšanās ekonomikas tūrisma platformu attīstībai Latvijā. Pirmajā nodaļā tika pētīta dalīšanās ekonomikas teorētiskie aspekti, otrajā nodaļā tika veikta dalīšanās ekonomikas tūrisma piedāvājuma analīze. Trešajā nodaļā tika veikta empīriskā pētījuma – aptaujas un sešu strukturizētu interviju - analīze, kā arī izstrādāti priekšlikumi, kā veicināt Latvijas tūrisma nozares konkurētspēju, izmantojot dalīšanās ekonomikas tūrisma platformas. Darba apjoms ir 87 lapas, tajā ir 13 attēli , 5 tabulas un 10 pielikumi.

In particular, Airbnb has witnessed a significant worldwide year-on-year growth. Given the importance and popularity of Airbnb, it is crucial to examine which factors affect intentions to book on this website. Warehouses are key elements of supply chain networks, and great attention is paid to increase their efficiency. Highly volatile space requirements are enablers of innovative resource sharing concepts, where warehouse capacities are traded on online platforms.
