The common approach is to perform this task in two steps, by first segmenting the mesh and then annotating it. However, this approach does not allow one part to take advantage of the other. 3D meshes are usually affected by various visual distortions during their transmission and geometric processing. In this paper we propose a reduced reference method for mesh visual quality assessment. The method compares features extracted from the distorted mesh and the original one using a convolutional neural network in order to estimate the visual quality score. The perceptual distance between two meshes is computed as the Kullback-Leibler divergence between the two sets of feature vectors. It is a Correlation radiometer with direct sampling and fully polarimetric (i.e 4 Stockes). International audience; Modern optical measuring systems are able to record objects with high spatial and spectral precision. The acquisition of spatial data is possible with resolutions of a few hundredths of a millimeter using active projection-based camera systems, while spectral data can be obtained using filter-based multispectral camera systems that can capture surface spectral reflectance with high spatial resolution.
