Tapaustutkimus osaamisintensiivin B - to - B palveluyrityksen kansainvälistymisestä

Tässä tutkimuksessa verrattiin yritystenvälisten osaamisinteesiivien palveluiden kansainvälistymistä olemassa oleviin kansainvälistymisen teorioihin ja malleihin. Tavoitteena oli selvittää poikkeaako palveluyritysten kansainvälistyminen tuottavanteollisuuden kansainvälistymisen malleista. Syynä tähän oli että palveluyritysten kansainvälistymistä on tutkittu verrattain vähän ja mallit ja teoriat käsittelevät pääsääntöisesti tuotantoyrityksiä. Pääpainona tutkimuksessa oli pienten ja keskisuurten yritysten kansainvälistyminen. Siltuma ģenerēšanas un pārneses procesu modelēšana grafos

Šajā maģistra darbā ir apskatīts siltuma pārneses un starojuma pārneses process siltumvadīšanas vienādojumam, ar kuriem tālāk izveidoti matemātiskie modeļi. Vispirms analizē diskrēto Laplasa operatoru siltumvadīšanas vienādojumiem tas attēlots ar grafu palīdzību. Tika izveidoti matemātiskie modeļi diskrētiem gadījumiem ar avota locekļiem un bez tiem un veikti to skaitliskie eksperimenti. Ar Furjē likumu siltuma plūsmai tika veidota diskretizācija no vienas grafa virsotnes uz otru. Pēc tam tiek aplūkots ēnošanas efekts un radiatīvā pārnese un modeļiem veiktas simulācijas ar taišņu metodi programmu paketē MATLAB. Abstract During Hellenistic times, when the Pergamenian kingdom was prospering, Pergamum was operating an important harbour, used by merchants and military at the city of Elaia. This paper focuses on the development, utilisation and decay of the closed harbour of Elaia, which is discussed in the context of the landscape evolution of the environs of the ancient settlement. Based on geoarchaeological, archaeological and literary evidence, the construction of two harbour moles in order to provide shelter against wave action and enemies can be attributed to the early Hellenistic period. Periglacial transport distance of Pb derived from small-scale ore veins in the Rhenish Slate Mountains

Abstract The spatial extent of metal contamination caused by small-scale ore veins is increased by periglacial solifluction. Our objectives were (1) to examine the spatial distribution of Pb in cover beds that migrated over Pb ore veins, (2) to calculate the transport distance of ore-derived Pb, and (3) to determine controls on the transport distance. We examined six transects (320–775 m long) in the Rhenish Slate Mountains in West Germany. The transects included four west-exposed and two east-exposed slopes with inclinations between 2–20°. IL6/STAT3 signaling is associated with endocrine therapy resistance in prostate cancer, but therapies targeting this pathway in prostate cancer were unsuccessful in clinical trials so far. The mechanistic explanation for this phenomenon is currently unclear; however, IL6 has pleiotropic effects on a number of signaling pathways, including the androgen receptor (AR). Therefore, we investigated IL6-mediated AR activation in prostate cancer cell lines and ex vivo primary prostate tissue cultures in order to gain a better understanding on how to inhibit this process for future clinical trials. Tracking environmental changes in restored Mediterranean dune slacks.

Restoration is an ecological tool that aims to recover the prior conditions and functioning of a degraded habitat. Three restoration projects targeted a dune slack system in the Eastern Iberian Peninsula and created a mosaic of ponds restored over three different periods: 1998, 2003 and 2007, the latter coinciding with the start of our study. Restoration works consisted of digging out the pond basin to its original morphometry. Plot-scale measurement of soil erosion at the experimental area of Sparacia (southern Italy)

Obtaining good quality soil loss data from plots requires knowledge of the factors that affect natural and measurement data variability and of the erosion processes that occur on plots of different sizes. Data variability was investigated in southern Italy by collecting runoff and soil loss from four universal soil-loss equation (USLE) plots of 176 m2, 20 ‘large’ microplots (0·16 m2) and 40 ‘small’ microplots (0·04 m2). For the four most erosive events (event erosivity index, Re ≥ 139 MJ mm ha−1 h−1), mean soil loss from the USLE plots was significantly correlated with Re. Darbā veikts literatūras apskats par dažādu veidu polioliem, to iegūšanas reakcijām un to raksturlielumu analīzes metodēm. Tika apskatīti poliētera, poliestera un no dabasvielām iegūtie polioli. Izpētīta rapšu eļļas epoksidēšanās reakcijas kinētika 55, 60, 65 oC. No rapšu eļļas tika iegūts epoksidācijas produkts, kuru modificēja ar dietanolamīnu, trietanolamīnu un dietilēnglikolu. Iegūtajiem polioliem tika noteikti to raksturlielumi un tika veikta to salīdzināšana. Iegūtie polioli papildus tika analizēti ar Furjē transformācijas infrasarkanās spektraskopijas (FTIR) metodi un gēla caurlaidības hromatogrāfiju (GPC). This paper presents the dynamics of sedimentation processes and soil development of a steeply sloping 0-order catchment in the sandy Lower Bunter of the south-western mid-range mountains in the Palatinate Forest (Germany) during the transition period from the Late Glacial to the Early Holocene. Field investigations, chemical, physical, micromorphological and anthracological analyses revealed a complex palaeosol-sediment sequence along the thalweg of a dry valley, where a significant amount of the sediment from the adjacent slopes had been captured.
