Context: Nowadays, there are sound methods and tools which implement the Model-Driven Development approach (MDD) satisfactorily. However, MDD approaches focus on representing and generating code that represents functionality, behaviour and persistence, putting the interaction, and more specifically the usability, in a second place. Monitoring multidimensional phenomena with a multicriteria composite performance interval approach

Different methodological approaches are used to summarise huge datasets of information in a single figure. Tamaño del distrito y voto estratégico en España

En este estudio se analizan los efectos psicológicos del sistema electoral, prestándose atención a la influencia del tamaño o magnitud del distrito electoral en la utilización estratégica del voto en las elecciones del Congreso de los Diputados. Para medir la incidencia del voto estratégico en el comportamiento de los votantes españoles entre 1982 y 2000 se aplican los diversos enfoques propuestos para estudiar este fenómeno. Los resultados permiten afirmar que la variable institucional constituida por el sistema electoral ?el tamaño o la dimensión del distrito, o sea, la diferencia entre distritos grandes y pequeños? influye en el comportamiento de los electores.

Asynchronous sensor fusion of GPS, IMU and CAN-based odometry for heavy-duty vehicles

[EN] In heavy-duty vehicles, multiple signals are available to estimate the vehicle's kinematics, such as Inertial Measurement Unit (IMU), Global Positioning System (GPS) and linear and angular speed readings from wheel tachometers on the internal Controller Area Network (CAN). These signals have different noise variance, bandwidth and sampling rate (being the latter, possibly, irregular). Remote interspecies interactions: Improving humans and animals wellbeing through mobile playful spaces

[EN] Play is an essential activity for both humans and animals as it provides stimulation and favors cognitive, physical and social development. This paper proposes a novel pervasive playful environment that allows hospitalized children to participate in remote interspecies play with dogs in a dog daycare facility, while it also allows the dogs to play by themselves with the pervasive system. The aim of this playful interactive space is to help improving both children¿s and animal¿s wellbeing and their relationships by means of technologically mediated play, while creating a solid knowledge base to define the future of pervasive interactive environments for animals.

Evaluating Model-Driven Development Claims with Respect to Quality: A Family of Experiments
