Since the 1980s there have been a number of studies that investigate the use of computers in homes. Many of these focused on the adults or adolescents in the family. Few studies have focused on children, particularly those between the ages of five and twelve. If children of these ages were included in a study they were usually situated within a study of the family and its dynamics, and often their experiences were viewed through the eyes of the adults in the family. This paper investigates the role of syntactic, semantic, and lexical factors in the diachronic development of German nominalization patterns. Drawing on an extensive corpus analysis of Early New High German and New High German texts, it is shown that (a) deverbal nominals in the suffix -ung tend to develop more reified meaning variants, which is reflected in the syntactic patterns in which the word-formation products preferentially occur, and (b) infinitival nominalization becomes more productive and is established as the new default word-formation pattern deriving nouns from verbs. In the 2011 campaign the southern and central apses, as well as the southern nave of the abbey church of St Peter, together with its immediate surroundings were excavated. The primary analysis of the eastern part of the Venetian town wall was undertaken as well. The geophysical survey of the western and south-eastern parts of the complex has equally been continued. AbstractThis paper documents the gendered aspects of changes affecting the life course of Romanians post-socialism, and the meanings men and women—with ages spanning across various age cohorts—employ to make sense of their experiences. Based on qualitative data collected during research on precarious prosperity among Romanian households conducted in 2013, the findings show that major shifts occurred in the timing of life events. International audience; The paper discusses a theoretical framework for investigating the process of becoming a mathematics teacher, based on the need to better understand how mathematics and teaching combine in developing mathematics teacher identities. Identity is understood as a function of participation in and at the boundaries of various communities of practice, during university teacher education and at school. In order to reveal possible relationships between developing teacher identities and the discipline of mathematics, teachers' changing concept images of mathematics are embedded within the definition of identity.
Towards a Framework for Building Theory from ISD Practices

The paper presents a framework for building theory from ISD practices. The framework locates ISD practices in a learning loop that is situated in a development context. The framework recognizes that ISD practices are related to their learned rationale that may come from previous experiences, i.e. observed impacts of practices, or from existing theory. These concepts recognized by the framework are needed for building theory from ISD practices, for designing research approaches for studying ISD, for evaluating existing research on ISD practices and for evaluating ISD methods.
