The interfacial Dzyaloshinskii-Moriya interaction (DMI) is intimately related to the prospect of superior domain-wall dynamics and the formation of magnetic skyrmions. Although some experimental efforts have been recently proposed to quantify these interactions and the underlying physics, it is still far from trivial to address the interfacial DMI. Riskantas seksuālas uzvedības saistība ar personības iezīmēm jauniešiem un jauniem pieaugušajiem vecumā no 18 līdz 29 gadiem.

Veiktā pētījuma mērķis bija noskaidrot, kādas sakarības pastāv starp Lielā piecinieka personības iezīmēm, impulsivitāti un riskantu seksuālu uzvedību. Datu ievākšanai tika izmantotas divas aptaujas: Latvijas Personības aptauja (LPA-v3, Perepjolkina & Renģe, 2013); Impulsivitātes aptauja (UPPS Impulsivity Scale, Whiteside & Lynam, 2001), ko Latvijā adaptējusi A. Caune, 2008. gadā, un riskantas seksuālas uzvedības noteikšanai tika uzdoti trīs jautājumi: cik gados tika uzsākta dzimumdzīve, cik seksuālo partneru ir bijis dzīves laikā un cik bieži pēdējo 6 mēnešu laikā tika lietots prezervatīvs. Pētījumā piedalījās 45 respondenti (33 sievietes, 12 vīrieši) vecumā no 19 līdz 29 gadiem (M = 23,1).…

The emergence of pathogenic bacteria resistant to multiple antibiotics is a serious worldwide public health concern. Whenever antibiotics are applied, the genes encoding for antibiotic resistance are selected for within bacterial populations. This has led to the prevalence of conjugative plasmids that carry resistance genes and can transfer themselves between diverse bacterial groups. The presented article examines aspects of a PV module testing using natural sunlight in outdoor conditions. The article discusses the physical sense of indexes: atmosphere purity, diffused component content, beam clear sky index. Procedures for their determination are given in relation to both instantaneous and daily values. Their close connection with the values of solar irradiance spectral distribution such as Average Photon Energyand Useful Fractionis demonstrated, as well as their usefulness in moduletesting in outdoor conditions. Laatuaikaoppiminen : vuorovaikutteista ja yhteistoiminnallista fysiikan opiskelua

Esittelemme artikkelissa Jyväskylän yliopiston fysiikan laitoksella kehitettyä opetuksen toimintamallia, joka perustuu teknologiatuettuun pienryhmäopiskeluun ja kurssin aikaiseen formatiiviseen arviointiin. Toimintamalli kehittää työelämätaitoja, tehostaa opettajien ja opiskelijoiden ajankäyttöä, vahvistaa opiskelijoiden välistä vuorovaikutusta ja hyödyntää suunnitelmallisesti tuloksia fysiikan opetuksen tutkimuksesta. Alustavat kokemukset toimintamallista ovat rohkaisevia. nonPeerReviewed
