In this thesis, we consider solving computationally expensive multiobjective optimization problems that take into account the preferences of a decision maker (DM). The inherently amphiphilic nature of native cyclodextrins (CDs) determines their peculiar molecular encapsulation features, enabling applications such as targeted drug nanodelivery, aroma protection, etc. On the contrary, it may also lead to poor solubility in water and other organic solvents and to potentially detrimental flocking in these media, thus posing limitations to more extensive usage. Purpose: To determine the utility of apparent diffusion coefficients (ADCs) for the characterisation of small solid renal lesions. Methods and Materials: 26 patients (GFR 30-60 mL/min) with 39 small (1-3 cm) solid renal masses [16 RCCs (10 clear cell types; 6 other types); 18 AMLs (10 fat-containing; 8 minimal-fat) and 5 oncocytomas] were examined on a 3 T system using DW-SS-EPI (b-values 0, 1000 s/mm2). Inter-area oscillations in the 500-kV Vietnamese power system

The paper presents the study of the 500-kV Vietnamese power system. The oscillatory response of the system is analyzed both with a modal analysis and a time domain analysis. The 500-kV system of Vietnam is modeled in details, including all the power plants with the corresponding regulators. The model is developed in collaboration with the Institute of Energy Science IES-VAST of Vietnam and it is validated with the data provided by the National Load Dispatch Centre (NLDC) of Vietnam. The simulation results reveal a clear identification of potential inter-area oscillations between North and South of the Country.
