The territory is a system, and must be placed at the heart of the complexity that characterizes it. Basically dynamic, the territories therefore evolve under the influence of internal components, actors, using, shaping and managing the geographic space, thus multiplying the objects through four basic functions (appropriate, dwell, produce, exchange) while the geographical space brings constraints and amenities in a continuous feedback loop which is influenced additionally by so-called external elements.
